Steve's Automotive was founded by Steve & Sylvia Booy in 1983. Steve and Sylvia both grew up in Brampton, Ontario, and they were looking for an opportunity to start their own service facility. Because of the flooded market in Brampton, they decided to look down the road at some smaller, friendlier communities.

Wonderful Experience!! We broke down on the 401 just East of the dealership with 2 kids in the car on a hot summer day. We got dropped off at Steve's Automotive at 10am and were back on the highway by noon. The front desk mechanic informed me of the progress continually and made us all feel welcome. Knowbody likes car repairs but when you gotta get em done I would recommend Steve's Automotive.

This was our first time using Steve's Automotive instead of our dealer, and we had an amazing experience. The brand new garage they have built is beautiful and welcoming. While our car was there we received a text with a website for our car, showing pictures of inspected items and what needed/recommended repairs. We were able to see a quote and accept/decline services as needed. I was even able to pay through that website. Super convenient, professional, modern and WELL DONE. Derek and the team at Steve's Automotive are absolutely amazing. Easily the best mechanic shop I have dealt with. They were more than prepared to diagnose and fix the issues with my Edge in the same day all while providing a loaner car so I could continue my day. Modern technology and computer systems means that I had the report for my Edge in my hands before they called. I paid for my service via online payment services before picking up my Edge making for a quick pick up. Really impressed with their service and their new shop is beautiful!!
