I'm Martin Frith, a secular humanist wedding officiant licensed to conduct marriages in Ontario. I'll provide you with a wedding planning guide with many samples of wording for each part of your wedding ceremony.

Services
I'm Martin Frith - principal of Toronto's Ceremonies with Choice. I'm an Authorized Officiant of Humanist Canada and I'm licensed by the Registrar-General under the Marriage Act of the Province of Ontario. I use the term humanist wedding officiant but often I hear people refer to me as minister, celebrant, pastor or reverend.
As a wedding officiant to many Toronto couples, I've helped co-create memorable wedding ceremonies. Read what they're saying here. In Ontario, you have considerable freedom in developing your wedding ceremony and vows. Aside from required legal elements of the wedding ceremony, our focus will be to collaboratively develop a ceremony in which you feel comfortable, that speaks to you as a couple and expresses your unique relationship narrative.

We couldn’t have asked for a better person to officiate our marriage. Martin put us at ease right from the get go and made the entire process so much fun. We could not stop laughing during our first meeting with him. He took the time to get to know us and tailored the ceremony to us and our family. We are most appreciative of the thought he put into including the kids during the ceremony and having them sign a family certificate. It was the perfect day with the most perfect officiant!

Martin was the officiant for our wedding in August. We can’t say enough great things about him . He’s very personable and friendly, and took the time to get to know us prior to the day. He gave a lovely personalized talk about us during the service. He gave several options of passages and examples of vows that made the whole process very easy. Martin was/is truly incredible. My husband and I felt connected to him within the first 5 minutes of meeting him. He has such a warm, caring, and easy-going presence; we knew we wanted him to be our officiant right away. Martin took his time with us and really got to know us as a couple. During the ceremony he inserted hilarious and sweet anecdotes that we had shared with him and made it so personal and special. He was an integral part of our day and we cannot recommend him enough.

Martin was our officiant for our wedding and we were in contact with him 8 months before our wedding. From our initial meeting, he had such a warm and welcoming presence. He always had a smile on his face whenever we met with him and when we were in zoom meetings as things closed down. Martin is a great listener and he wrote up our ceremony and included a personal touch of our love story in his introduction to our guests during the ceremony. We are so pleased with his work and how professional he is. We highly recommend Martin.

Our experience with Martin right from day one was amazing, he was available for consultation outside of our initial meetings and took the time out to get to know us for our personalized ceremony and rehearsal. He really helped us navigate the planning process and was an integral step over some hurdles. We also took Martin’s wedding preparation… class, from the personality test to the important discussions it covers it was not a cookie cutter class but customized to what our specific needs were at the time. It really helped us stay close to each other and prepare us for married life
