They have really good milk teas but for the love of all that’s holy, do not walk in and order! They prioritize phone orders so when you walk in they’ll say it’s a 10 minute wait but really it’ll be 35-40 minutes and that’s only if you complain about the wait… could’ve easily been longer. Call ahead or order when you start shopping in the plaza - this way at least you’ll know the order will be ready when you done. Really disappointed with the service.

Purple bubble is a pretty good chinese food restaurant. Don't let the name fool you, their chinese food is actually quite good! I would typically get the Ho Fun with black bean sauce. It's not the best one out there, but considering we are in Durham, it's quite good.

Placed a $200+ order for New Years Eve and was very pleased with the service. (Mind you this wasn’t my first time going there). Everyone loved the food at the party and everyone got what they ordered. The Chinese food was delicious! Definitely recommend!

Stopped in for a grilled chicken and egg dish. They didn't have enough of the regular chicken so they subbed in their basil chicken. It was SO good. Super friendly staff too. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

I always enjoy this place. I love the new Korean hot dogs they have. I had the Ramen and it was very crunchy. My friend had the potato costing but found it too heavy and greasy so he only ate the hot dog. Our taro bubble teas were good as usual.

Purple Bubble is probably one of the best Asian restaurants in Durham. The original Bubble tea in Ajax! The customer service is great. They are always so polite despite how busy it is. We love the family that works there, always so happy to see us. Love the Korean hot dogs and taro Bubble tea

I had the Chicken Teriyaki with veg and a General pao chicken. portion good but really lacking in taste. It taste like the generic fast food you get in the malls. The Teriyaki chicken was white flavor in sauce. It was my first time so really disappointed.

I was in the area and decided to check this place out since I was craving a bubble tea. Didn’t want to go to Coco or one of those popular chains so gave Purple Bubble a chance. Thankfully it did not disappoint. They had a $4.99 special on the milk tea so tried it out and wow - it was delicious. The tea flavour was very prominent and the toppings (tapioca, grass jelly, coconut jelly) went really well with the milk tea. Also, bonus points for a soft and chewy tapioca. If I lived closer, I’d definitely try out more drinks. I’ll definitely be back though!

This is the best Thai place in all of Durham. We ordered the Green Thai curry and the bubble teas are fantastic too. Surely recommend trying the Green Thai Curry. One thing, I really admired about this place is that each dish has a spice level. It is not generic where the dish is too spicy and you wont enjoy it. Also recommend the Mango Milk Tea which is really refreshing. Lots of place to sit and enjoy. The customer service is excellent. Will surely return again in the near future.

Another fast-food restaurant with the most friendly staff. Not much on the menu selection but if you are a fan a bubble tea, then you have found your destination. So if you are a shopaholic and need a break, give it a go and unwind.

Dropped in because I was craving some bubble tea. Tried the mango, no sugar with tapioca and overall it was good however felt there was not enough tapioca. Chatime are pretty generous with tapioca compared to this place. I had their food a while ago and remember it was good as well. Definitely worth a try!

I stopped in here as I was craving a Bubble Tea and it was the only place I could find nearby that sold them.

I ordered an Original Mill Tea with Tapicoa and it was - okay. The drink was cold with just the right amount of ice but I felt like there was not that much tapioca and I paid for extra! The sweetness level was low and the drink overall was sort of bland.

Nothing like a ShareTea or a Chattime. They also served food which people seemed to be enjoying in the little restaurant but for sure their strength is not Bubble Tea. It's more of a little restaurant that can make Bubble Tea if

Horrible customer service. Always different employees when I order. Two female employees always seem miserable and depressed. I have ordered with an egg well done with my food before a couple times but comes a little runny. Wait time is unbearable. DO NOT order food or drinks here.

Love their Bubble teas!! We have had a few things on the menu and have never been disappointed. One our favourite stops for fast food. The only negative I can say is This place is usually busy around dinner time so you might wait a little longer than you expected. Otherwise, love it.

Dropped in to pick up a quick lunch and got their spicy basil chicken with rice, spicy level-5 chilies. Although the stir fry was flavourful with better than expected "Thai" flavour, the 5 chilies spicy level was nowhere near spicy. Large portions with choke full of veggies, chickens sitting on rice made for a good lunch. Just wish they could have made it spicier as 5 chilies is their maximum spice level.

May come back to try their Hong Kong style egg waffles with my daughter if we're back in the area for a shopping trip.

The hot milk tea is really good here. I got the roasted oolong tea with almond flavouring and it was dynamite. The cold bubble tea/slushies are about average compared to other places. The food is good, but takes a long time to prepare. I would come back for the hot milk tea.

We had the Nutella bubble tea. It was really really good! not too sweet, just perfect. My only issue is the price. I spent nearly$7 for a large tea. it's a small and clean establishment. I haven't tried the food but the plates I saw people eating looked good.
