Services
Birch Hill Camp is a 50-year-old, family run tourist camp situated on the north shore of beautiful Lake Nosbonsing. We offer our guests five housekeeping cottages that vary in size from 1 bedroom, to our 2000sqft 4-bedroom cottage. They come with fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms and all have showers.
At Birch Hill Camp we help our Southern Ontario guests by opening up the doors of Northern Ontario, to let them experience life the way we live it. Visitors can enjoy the pleasures and beauty that we have in our backyards - turn the page on your lifestyle by experiencing the pace and natural surroundings of our part of Ontario.
At Birch Hill Camp, we take pride in our wonderful landscaping. We have plenty of flowers and gardens throughout our camp and enjoy keeping our grounds in immaculate shape. We maintain our lawns in golf course condition, and we love our flowers that my mom, Aly, has been growing for the past 50 years.
They feature two double beds, a two-burner propane stove, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fridge. To accommodate the absence of bathroom facilities in the eco cabins, we have three flush-toilet locations on Birch Hill Camp property, and one shower house. We wanted to offer an option that was economical, simple, but had everything you needed if you don't want to sleep in a tent.
Due to increasing cottage demand, we have an air conditioned trailer that we rent out. It comes with a complete add-a-room built on the front, so you get twice the space. It's a full 30' trailer complete with a queen bed and double (pullout couch), and with the add-on there's an extra double pull-out couch and single bed.

Birch Hill Camp in Ontario. Just southeast of North Bay. We were there for 2 weeks, the cabins are small and outdated, the staff is not very friendly, towns of rules and I was promised free docking for the entire stay upon booking the cottage however at the end of stay I was given a heavty bill for everything including docking fees, so be causes. Also check put time is at 9am and Birch Camp accepts CASH only, no debit or credit card payments are available. The area and Lake is beautiful and I suggest to stay at other Camp grounds, there are two other Camps on the lake as we will not be returning

Loved this place and this is our now go to camp site when ever we headed north bay way. Recommend it to friends and family as well. Really neat nice beach , clean facilities like washroom . Hydro and water connections for sites. Henry and his family are very nice and friendly hosts. Price is also not expensive at all. Very reasonable. Also the site had the least amount of bugs as compared to other sites I camped at.

Ive run an ice fishing trip 8 years now and 6 have been at birch hill camp. Birch hill camp is now a staple to our annual “iceholes” trip. I cannot say enough of the service and the kind of person henry and his family are. When your there your not a guest but treated as family. Weve seen years with consistent numbers caught including some big perch ,muskie, pike and this year a walter (walleye) over 9lbs . Never a bad moment while our group is up there. Cottages are very clean warm and spacious. Henry even puts on a fish fry on the saturday night for his guests.
Highly recommend staying here

What a great ice fishing package. The cottages may be old fashion inside but very comfortable and warm. The ice hut is the best I have ever seen. I was able to cook full meals in the hut while fishing and my husband even got a nap in. Large bench seats to sleep on. Unlimited bait. Henry makes sure the hut is nice and warm before you head out in the morning. He provides transportation to and from but can also walk it - not a far walk on a well used skidoo trail. So very welcoming and the pickerel dinner on Saturday was the icing on the cake. Unfortunately though, I'm convinced there is no real fish
