With 15 fully licensed school age care locations and 6 preschool locations at public schools across Abbotsford our affordable rates, allow us to deliver excellent care to as many children as we can.In 1994, our founders recognized a need for affordable yet high-quality school age child care and preschool in the community of Abbotsford, BC.

As per Hand in Hand's policy regarding school district closures, all Hand in Hand locations will be closed due to the extreme heat. We are so excited to announce the opening of our new Hand in Hand Early Learning Center located on Clearbrook Road. This Center will offer both Preschool Programs and full day Licensed Group Daycare for children aged 30 months to 5 years.

The time between 5 to 12 years of age - marks an important period in a child's development pertaining to cognitive, social and emotional changes that sets the stage for success in adolescence and adulthood. Hand in Hand recognizes the growing physical, intellectual and social competence needs of the increasingly independent school age child.
Our play-based environment is guided by the BC Early Learning Framework document which supports the creation of a rich early learning experience and environment that enhances a young child's natural curiousity to learn. Current research suggests that there are vital windows of opportunity in a preschool age child's development that prepares them for academic success later in their life.
