We will conduct searches that are required to ensure that you will receive good title to the property you are buying. We will properly review and prepare all documents necessary to close the purchase and meet with you to explain, review and sign all necessary documents.
If you qualify as a First-Time Home buyer by Revenue Canada, you may be eligible for certain government programs. Are you buying a home for the first time? You may be eligible for Ontario First-Time Home Buyer Land Transfer Tax Rebate - The Ontario Land Transfer Tax Rebate is equal to the full value of the land transfer tax up to a maximum of $4,000 (In the City of Toronto, up to a maximum of $3,725.00).
If you are a renter, give your Landlord proper notice that you will be vacating the unit and terminating your tenancy. If you have committed to the buyers of your current home that you will complete repairs, make arrangements for thee repairs to be done. Create a 'move' file to keep track of estimates, receipts and other important information.
