Over the holidays I was out of town visiting family. I noticed a large crack in my older dog’s tooth and was concerned enough to seek veterinary care. I gave Clinton Veterinary Services a call and they quickly got my dog’s history from our regular vet and squeezed us in during a very busy time of year. Dr Sophie Farrell gave us a call and explained to us what they could do and what would most likely be done by our regular vet. Everyone at the clinic was great, if I lived in the area I would definitely bring my animals to this clinic. Thank you to everyone at Clinton Veterinary Services!

They used to have amazing caring staff but not anymore. We had to put our family dog down after a long life. The vet over the phone refused to talk to us even though they knew it was our animal all because of a name change on file. Once we were there we were informed that only 4 people were allowed to go say their goodbyes. Lastly as my mother sat there crying talking one last time to her beloved pet one of the techs thought it would be a great idea to come very nonchalantly ask how my moms other animal is doing. Because that is exactly what a person holding their dying pets wants to do, talking

After waiting in the parking lot for 3 hours for an exam and for them to run a test that takes 10-30 minutes, they informed me to put my cat on antibiotics that she was already on. If they communicated with each other they would have known this. After telling them this again, they then changed their diagnosis which involved emergency surgery. If i didn't question what they said, my cat would have been sent home. Extremely unprofessional.

Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism in the owner of this clinic. I have been going to this clinic for SIX MONTHS. I have been told that they will no longer dispense parasite control as we do not have a doctor-patient relationship. Saying "we are not a pharmacy" very rudly rather than explaining themselves. The first time I used Clinton Vet for parasite control, they dispensed the wrong dosage based on weight. For past visits, I have been called to be told my dog is due for parasite control. Now I am not even able to make an appointment or order bravecto. How does this change in six

I have been snobbed by this vet clinic too many times. We used to live beside them and our dog would always end up runnng over there. They found this annoying and treated me like I was a terrible owner... how many dogs would not be attracted to the smell and sound of other dogs - did they ever think to apologize for all the barking? Our dog dug under the fence to get there. Then I called to buy Tick drops this Spring and because we hadn't brought our dog in there for 4 years they wouldn't sell them to us because we were not an active client anymore. Our dog is now 9 and has not had any health problems

I recently took my dog there for a foot injury. I was extremely impressed with the care to my dog and the time that was spent making sure she was at ease with the doctor. They followed up with phone calls to make sure she was ok before they closed for the weekend. The cost was quite reasonable as well. I highly recommend the clinic

Thank you to the exceptional team of professionals at the Clinton Veterinary Clinic! They were all caring and professional when we brought our golden retriever, Angus, in when we thought he had suffered a stroke. However, thanks to their experience it turned out to be a Vestibular disease which is treatable and shows the same signs as a stroke in older dogs.
They provided us with the right medications and Angus is now up and walking around a little bit.
Thank you for saving our beloved Angus!
PS; Angus found me when I suffered a stroke and went to get Janice who called for help.

We've been taking our dogs here for years. I really appreciate the attention they give to Morgan, they are all so lovely with her. They listen to me and give me honest opinions. I drive two hours to take my dog to them because I trust them. I went to another clinic in the city and that vet had recommended unnecessary surgery to remove a fat lump off my dog that was right by her tail. My vet said if we went through with the surgery the site would have a hard time healing because of the location and it wasn't necessary as it wasn't causing her pain. I trust them and the advice

Clean, happy, not crowded, and they were kind to my dog. However, I did find they didn’t take my dog’s issues seriously or do all they could. I wanted a blood test to rule out something I believed my dog had, and the vet basically laughed at me and wouldn’t even try. It was just a blood test. They don’t like their judgment to be questioned. They also don’t offer alternative treatments to the most expensive options. I’d go to a more sensitive vet if I had the chance. They also don’t offer emergency care which is unacceptable in a vet.

Ever since The new owner of Clinton Veterinary the services have been going downhill they don't treat their patients the same. The last owner was so amazing and I travelled halfway across Canada come see her but now that she doesn't own it anymore the services are so bad there's new staff they are so rude and obnoxious. They make you feel like you are below them. I would totally recommend you not going to this veterinarian clinic in Clinton. When they treated my dog, I asked certain questions they were very stuck up like you don't know was the look in their face and All I want
