Ben lives on an acreage with his wife Korlinda and 6 children. After graduating from SAIT in 1994 with an honors degree in Engineering design and drafting technology he started working for a local construction company and fell in love with the building industry. He received his Journeyman carpentry ticket in 1998 and started Reside Construction in 1999.
The combination of design training and carpentry equipped him with a superior eye for detail quality and the ability to visualize homes while they are still on paper. At any stage of a project, from design to handing over the keys, Ben will be there to answer any questions you might have and leave you assured that your home is being expertly managed.

We were approached by these homeowners with a blank slate and nothing but dreams and a building lot with an amazing river view. This was a very enjoyable project for us, a unique transformation with only a 3 month time frame we completed it in. I hired Ben from Reside on general contracting to replace multiple windows and drywall at my property after I discovered that the windows at my property had failed and causing leaks and damage to the house.
Ben was great at helping me optimize the costs as it was a rental. He is honest and gave me recommendations for items I need to replace.
