They have often squeezed me into a busy work day. They guarantee their work. They stand by their service record. I trust Ken and his staff completely! I brought in a new to me Volvo XC90 3.2 for an inspection and repair of any safety and reliability related issues.
Scandia did the work quickly and for significantly less than what I had previously been quoted by another shop.
I appreciate that they took the time to explain in detail what has been done and what parts were used.
Although I live on Vancouver Island, I will definitely be bringing my Volvo to Scandia for future repair and maintenance, whenever possible.

Just had my third experience with Scandia Motors, and I couldn't be happier. I checked out their reputation in the neighborhood, and all I have heard is stellar. I actually bought a used Volvo C70 knowing I could depend on this shop and not be ripped off. The staff are happy to walk you through any step you need, and take pride in their work. It's very comforting that I know I have some mechanics to depend on, who will do their best to take care of my car and with my best interests in mind. Well done!

It is such a satisfying feeling picking up your car from a mechanic and not feeling like you've been ripped off. My Volvo 740 GL is by no means a peach. She is rough around the edges and definitely has her fair share of problems. I bought her from a nice lady and she told me "the best thing about this car is it comes with the most AMAZING mechanics."
The woman's name is Jenny and I trusted her statement whole heartedly. Once the papers were signed she told me that the car has a name: "The Freedom Wagon." Of course I kept this name but affixed Jenny in front of it

Can't say enough good things about Scandia, I fought going to them due to the distance from New West to Maple Ridge but after dealing with another Volvo specific garage in Burnaby I'll never go anywhere else. Don, Ken and the rest of the crew know their stuff. It doesn't mater if its a Volvo from the 60's up to modern models they do it all and do it all very well, Ken has stayed late on a fri night to get my 242 fixed up right. Do yourself a favor and try them out if you drive a Volvo, they're the best in the lower mainland.

Am I really the first to write a review for these guys? This is an old school type of garage...don't expect any fancy waiting area or latte's while you wait. However, when it comes to Volvo's, these guys are the best! Ken is a legend in the Volvo world....and honest. Doesn't matter whether your Volvo is an old 850 like mine....or a new model, these guys will do a great job. They always do a great job for me and I have never had a problem. 5 stars....bring your Volvo here, you won't be sorry.
