The evening ran so smoothly thanks to you and the professional attitude of every person there. You went above and beyond and accounted for every detail, it could not have gone any better! Before finalizing all the details with you, Jay and I were pretty stressed, but after walking out of your office a weight was lifted from our shoulders.
Our wedding day was perfect. Thank you for all your help and support throughout the entire process! Thank you to Rick for all your help and support throughout our wedding process. So good I'm writing my first review to rave about it!!
Got two orders of cornbread and so glad I did because those golden nuggets are hard to put down. Ribs fell off the bone in my hands, so tender and literally melt-in-your-mouth. Sauce was ***amazing*** hands-down the best bbq sauce I've ever had. So complex, smokey, almost mysterious! True care was taken with all the flavours - beans and potato salad were equally complex and the coleslaw was incredibly light and delicate, the perfect balance to the fireworks going on in the other dishes. I had to put down my fork between bites and thank g-d

My first time trying this bbq place and was really looking forward to trying it, specially seeing the pictures being posted online. I ordered a beef brisket but it turned out pretty different from what I saw on the ads. Not sure if this is how it is in person or the ads is just to entice customers. Heres the photo of the ad taken where you can see the brisket's nicely sliced and mines where its on the brown box. Was really disappointed in my order and not sure if I would recommend brisket in this place.

After being a long-time customer of Memphis Blues, we decided to try one of their competitors in BBQ meats. We have always ordered from every restaurant online, ever since the pandemic. To our dismay, the BBQ we ordered arrived stale, nasty, dry, and in tiny portions compared to MB. What's worse is that Yo Bones costs considerably more for the same dishes! We were so disappointed with our adventurous experience that we decided to go back to our former "safe" choice.

We had Yo-Bones in our Bus Yard today for our Driver Appreciation Lunch. They were here early and ready to go before our 95 people started milling in. They offered a great selection (Chicken, Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Mushroom Bean Burger with a choice of 3 sides and drinks). There was something for everyone! The drivers were thrilled with the portions, it was hot, tasty and the service with excellent. We we absolutely use them again for our next function! 100/100! The price was less than we expected and well worth it!

Had high hopes for this place.....
Let's just say it is alright among Vancouver's few BBQ spots like Re Up and Memphis Blues but pales by comparison to the Texan/Memphis style in the south which it is ultimately try to emulate.
We ordered 1/2 lb of brisket, 1/2 rack of ribs and apple slaw.
Both meats were dry and old. The apple Cole slaw was devoid of any apple. Tasted store bought from Walmart. Charging 4$ for something I probably would not buy.
I understand we are all trying to promote budding food truck business but this was truly underwhelming.
Though we got a 10% discount

I'm a big BBQ fan. These folks are nice and have a cute clean looking cart.
What I really liked was that there was a good way, unlike many BBQ places, to sample one than one item without breaking the bank. In this case 2 sliders and a side, w. 2 different meats.
Good buns, sauce,.. but the meat needs to be the star of the show in good BBQ and though this was real BBQ, the crunchy bits and true smokey flavour were lacking a bit - I felt they were "semi-legit" for true BBQ but would need to try the non foodcart version and not sanwiches but the 1/2 of meat standalone.

Hard to find where to go if you have opted for pick-up (it's in the lane behind the street address) but well worth it. I ordered the Mac and Cheese with pulled pork for $14.00, less 15% because I picked it up. It was delicious and very generous in terms of the amount of both the Mac and Cheese and the pulled pork. Indeed, I brought it home and could only eat half for supper that night and had the rest for supper the following night.
I look forward to trying the rest of their menu.

Finally, a delicious and reasonably priced BBQ place in town. By place I really mean takeout kitchen. This place is not sit down.
Parking is available on Tyne as well as Kingsway. If one is quick, one can also park in the alley for a few moments.
The kitchen is not on Kingsway, but in a secret room downstairs in the back. The front is some Chinese travel agency. There is no access from Kingsway. I didn't peek in but I assume it's a big empty room with a BBQ grill and oven.
Guy is friendly and chatty. I think it's a one man show. This guy also has a food truck. He mentioned he

It's not easy to satisfy every stomach in my family, but we ALL LOVED the food and had a great family time, especially when things are not going so well for us during this Covid-19 pandemic.
Owner is very thoughtful, professional and warm. Thanks for going above and beyond. Absolutely amazing food and service.
P.S. Apparently either they improved the sauce, or it has always been done to a T;)

Rick catered my wedding and a small pre-wedding celebration we had. What can I say about him? He's friendly, very reliable and extremely passionate about his work. His food is absolutely amazing and he really cares about what you think.
We had a tasting with him, then ended up changing a few items and he actually brought us back in for a complete second tasting with everything, including drinks and dessert. Our guests loved the BBQ buffet we had at our wedding and there were tons of leftovers which Rick boxed up for us.
The catering was very reasonably priced and because Rick has a food

The food truck stops by my office on a regular basis, so that is what I'm reviewing. This is not great barbecue by any stretch of the imagination, but considering the price point and convenience (provided you live or work close enough to the food truck), I say it's a fair meal. It's also a worthwhile option if you're looking to supplement a lunch you already have, as a single slider is reasonably priced. Compared to the rest of Vancouver's pitiful food truck scene, I'd much rather this than 90% of the other options. With this food truck, at least I won't be spending

* BBQ Truck that relies on the sauce *
Saw this new truck pop up, and it seems it is being run by the Yo-Bones Catering company. The truck specializes in BBQ offering up pulled brisket, pork and chicken sandwiches with some sides.
I tried out the BBQ Chicken sandwich ($8). The chicken was a bit dry, did not have much smoke flavour at all. The slaw was rather bland and simply added a little bit of moisture. The sandwich relied pretty heavily on the sauce for both moisture and taste. They seem to know this and provide extra bottles of the sauce on the edge of the truck for those that need to add
