Aftercare Cremation-Burial Service

My dad died in a health centre without a morgue, so we were scrambling to get him out of there a few hours after he died. Aftercare is in my area, so my family and I contacted them. Not only were the initial forms very quick and easy to fill out (to get him immediately transferred to their morgues), the basic cremation plan is one of the cheapest and straightforward in the city. Including the urn/box we selected, we paid just over $1600, and the process was very straightforward which saved me and my mom a lot of confusion and heartache. They were extremely patient and kind with all our questions

My father passed away in April 2020 while Covid lockdown was at it's worst. This was quite a stressful time for me dealing with this great loss as well having a newborn baby at the time. I choose Aftercare after a good recommendation from the coroner. I couldn't have been more pleased. Laura was wonderful throughout. She assisted me during these months while waiting to be able to have my father's service. She answered any questions or concerns I had with ease and care. John and his staff were so wonderful the day of the service. Very professional and made sure everything was done to my liking.

I do not have words to express my gratitude to Laura and Doug for their compassionate, professional and efficient approach regarding the death of my mother. Laura took us through the process step by step effortlessly and if we had questions or concerns she and Doug were always there to help. I would highly recommend Aftercare.

My mother died recently in Toronto and we live in British Columbia so we had to make all the arrangements over the phone. Ryan was professional, prompt and provided all communications in a timely manner. We appreciated Ryan's services in this difficult time. We were pleased to learn that Aftercare has a Tribute Page upon which the obituary was posted. We highly recommend this company.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They were nice before they received the payment but after that the service and attitude was not what you would want when you are going through this process...make a call to another company!

We used their direct cremation services. They were very polite and helpful, and did absolutely everything they promised, and at the price they promised, and all in a very dignified way.

This a very sincere personable small funeral service and cremation company . They can be trusted to provide professional and sensitive assistance for families in times of death, grief , stress and emotional upset.

Very happy with the support we received at this very funeral home. After an unexpected death, we were calling facility after facility and were not able to organize a service. I cannot recommend Aftercare Cremation & Burial Service enough. My brother, who lived in Toronto, passed away unexpectedly. When I received the call at my home in Santa Monica, California, I went into shock. He was my younger brother. Since there were only the two of us, I had to fly out to Toronto to take care of his affairs. Before flying out, I tried to do as much as I could from California and one aspect was to arrange for the funeral. After calling a couple of funeral homes, I decided on Aftercare.
