Worst florist ever.
Ordered a floral vase arrangement online for delivery for my mom’s birthday - and talk about an expectation vs. reality situation. I understand that flowers can be substituted, but no care at all went into this arrangement. I was so embarrassed when I received an image of what was delivered to my mom.
When I emailed the company to express my disappointment with the arrangement, the owner a) took no ownership for the terrible job, b) proceeded to give excuses for the browning flowers and how it looked, and c) offered me an insulting $30 store credit (when I paid $170 total

Ordered a $150 orchid in person at the store to be delivered on a specific date. Pistil charged my credit card and I assumed that my order had been delivered. Got a call three weeks later saying they had just found my order and would deliver it today. Apologized of course, but no offer to make it right other than to deliver my order three weeks late. Won't be using them again.

If your in a pinch this place has a good selection of arrangements. Most are nice but not amazing or unique. They are very overpriced for what you get.
Staff is hit and miss. I have been there and they were very helpful and other times sort of rude and uninterested.
You would be better off planning ahead and look somewhere else.

Rude and useless staff. I wanted to buy a small bouquet to bring to the restaurant for our 10th anniversary. Although I repeated the bouquet should be small not to clutter our space, they kept offering me large arrangements, potted plants, etc. When they saw they would not make an easy sale, they turned their back on me and ignored me. I went to one of their competitors in the neighbourhood and got exactly want i wanted. I will never go back.

My husband sent me a succulent for my birthday. They arrived with dead leaves and the soil and rocks were all over the bag.
I emailed them to let them know and they offered for me to bring it back to their store and have them replant it. They said the succulents were in 'good condition' but they are not. When I asked them to send someone to pick up it up (not my fault they didn't deliver in good shape) they didn't respond to my email.
I will never order flowers from them again.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers today and for nearly 100 dollars, I would expect flowers that are not so wilted and tired looking. It was hugely disappointing as the flowers displayed looked quite nice and so I was not expecting such a discrepancy. What I should have done was look at the Yelp reviews beforehand but I was rushed and needed something. Overall not worth the price. I believe costco has a much better deal and bang for your buck.

I really wanted to like the flowers I ordered at Pistil. When this store was Black Eyed Susans, they had excellent arrangements. There are few flower shops that hire people that do excellent flower arranging - BES and the Teatro Verde were the gold standard. Pistil is now expensive and bad. I ordered 2 arrangements for Admin Prof day a few weeks ago for close to $200.00, picking them up myself. I asked specifically for only 2 colours, no roses or white flowers. The arrangements looked tired, were poorly matched and definitely included coloured roses. This is my second time ordering mediocre

I thought it would be a wonderful idea to come to pistil because it seems like the go-to florist down at the finance district. However, it was a mistake. I came to pistil with high expectations but was disappointed. The arrangement of flowers were wilted and dried, some buds were on the verge of snapping off, an orchid was literally taped to a stick...definitely not worth $60...

Bought a plant from Pistil specifically because the label said it was good for northern exposures, but, it turns out that the plant was mislabeled (a Jade, which is a succulent, and requires LOTS of direct light).
I tried to get it exchanged, but they refused. (I checked, and they had a number of other Jade plants similarly mislabeled). Very disappointed. Will not be returning.

First visit last year was great, the lady was very helpful and made several arrangements to suit my need and budget.
Second visit was terrible. The girl had a very rude attitude. The end product was nice but honestly for such expensive flowers you'd think the service would be top notch. I contacted the corporate office to complain, they were very fast in responding and sent an apology and explanation. Ok.
I give the first visit 4 stars, one less than 5 because of high price. I give the second visit 0 stars, so average out to 2 stars,

I usually shop at Flower Creations but decided to give this shop a try. The product was terrible and did not meet my very reasonable expectations. When i returned for an exchange, i received poor customer service all around. I even spoke to the owner who was not helpful and didn't even bother to try to rectify the situation. I am going back to Flower Creations in the Standard Life Centre. They have always gone above and beyond. P.S. I buy all of the arrangements for the birthdays, anniversaries, etc. in my firm of 200+ people so her not wanting to refund me $20 cost her so so much more

I recently purchased a bouquet here for my mother's birthday. While the bouquet turned out quite well and my mother liked it, I wasn't blown away by my experience here. I told the girl who was helping me that I didn't know much about flowers, and she said she would help me out, but I didn't find her all that helpful. I tried asking her some questions about whether she thought certain colours would work together or would clash, and she just looked at me like I was an idiot and didn't really offer that much input. In the end it was mostly just me pointing at random flowers

I bought a bouquet for Valentine's Day and when I took the flowers out of wrapping to rearrange it for one of my vases at home, I realized one of the flowers was only about 6" long while the bouquet was about 24".
