New Municipal Drains or extensions of existing Drains are often required for rural development such as severances and site plans to have a legal outlet. CJDL follows through the systematic format set out in The Drainage Act to ensure a successful project. CJDL has designed and managed several recent projects to replace culvert crossings with large precast box culverts and open bottom culverts.
Most new development requires some level of stormwater management to maintain/improve water quality and control the quantity/rate of run-off. CJDL uses the latest modelling software and works with the Owner and Municipalities to provide a stormwater management solution specifically tailored to each development.
