Services
We offer a great many Jiu-jitsu classes for children, where they can safely and cheerfully develop their minds and bodies under expert instruction. Jiu-jitsu, unlike many sports, is both a solo and a team activity. Thus, as a solo activity, the child develops personal integrity and courage, and as a team activity s/he develops cooperation, communication and respect for others.
Our Mixed Martial Arts programme covers the entire scope of the sport, combining striking and grappling. Striking specialists cover the striking aspects and grappling experts cover the grappling aspects. The crossover elements, mixing striking and grappling together in the clinch and on the ground are covered by both.
Submission grappling is the sport of submitting an adversary. There are several rule sets for submission grappling including the very popular BJJ rules, the ADCC rules and FILA. There are two types: gi and no gi.
The difference between grappling and BJJ tourneys that use the same rules is that grappling tourneys are not divided by BJJ belt levels but rather by levels of experience in the sport of submission grappling, typically beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

Judo is the world's most popular form of wrestling. The aim is to make the opponent fall onto his back. If he falls onto his knees or side, the goal is to roll him to his back and pin him there for 25 seconds without getting twined up in his legs, or to choke or armlock him until he submits. Founder and head coach of Kakure Judo Club.
Began competing right-away in Sport Jiu-jitsu (MMA) and Grappling tourneys, and also in Wrestling and Kickboxing. Started my own club in 1991 called the Hamilton School of Martial Arts, my goal being to win a world title, and I did, twice. In '95 in New Zealand at the World's, I took 2nd in the team event and 5th in the Individuals category.

My 4 year old son just started classes with Mikey and so far he LOVES it. Mikey is very friendly, professional, helpful and the price for the classes are great! I would highly recommend them. It’s a very family friendly environment and a great way for our kids to use their energy while learning an amazing sport. Plus, the instructor is a world champion so they’ll literally be learning from the best.

Well I canceled my membership. And they continued to take money out of my account, $45 dollars a month, I didn't realize it until I was in my bank reviewing some things. So my bank investigated and stated they stole well over $400.00. I called and emailed so many times I lost count. I spoke to Mickey directly and he brushes me off, and refusing to give me back what they stole even though I had the proof. Now he ignores my calls and hasn't returned one email. This is theft, and unprofessional. People should beware. He knows he is in the wrong and that money is rightly mine and I work very hard for

Both of my children have been going here for years. My daughter is 10 now and started when she was 2 and a half and my son is 7 and joined when he was three.
They absolutely LOVE jiujitsu and have made so many friends. Jiujitsu has also provided them with so much confidence and discipline.
This family owned business is highly recommend by my family.
The Owner Mickey, his family and staff are always so very welcoming and professional.
The club is always kept clean.
Thank you Mickey and staff for being amazing with my children for all of these years and making us feel like part of the family

We've been bringing our child to their Jiu-Jitsu class for over a year now and the staff is great with her. She has taken an interest on the program and has done wonders for any bad behaviours she had learned when she started school. I can tell all her teachers take pride in what they do.
The gym is very clean and has plenty of space but would suggest staggering your arrival a little earlier to cope with the volume of people leaving after class.
I only rated them a 4 star because of the obnoxious fitness instructor on the other side who insists on playing music so loud that you can't hear anything

Really great place to train.Mickey the owner and his family are such humble, kind and warm individuals. They always go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they do so much for the community. The facility is big and always nice and clean. The trainers are all great and always willing to help you with your goals. I am really happy I gave this place a try and I know I wouldn't want to train anywhere else.
