When golfers chipping their way out of a sand trap forget their frustration and start praising the quality of the white sand, you know its' a great course. The course is in excellent shape, thanks to the club president, Arnie Palmer, and his grounds crew. Arnie has been with the Tilbury Golf Course for approximately 33 years, so he knows a thing or two about transforming a golf course into a thing of beauty.
Both nines at Tilbury Golf Club provide gently rolling fairways with a good mix of water, sand and trees to affect play. Tilbury Golf Club's undulating greens can sometimes be difficult to read and two putting should never be taken for granted. Tilbury's signature hole is the 490 yard 14th, a par five dogleg left that plays from an elevated tee.
Relaxation plays a major part in having a great round of golf. Try to arrive at the course with plenty of time to spare before your tee time. Browse the ProShop for some accessories you may need. Look for specials, such as our current sale on Adidas and Nike clothing. Warm up with a bucket of balls on our driving range.

First off, awesome people! The course is nice for the most part, good signage for hazards etc. Most bunkers were rock hard, wasn't in many but did notice a few, and I thought - good thing I avoided that one. The not so good, the power carts (at least the one we had), down right awful, the constant jerky starts took a toll on my back, after a couple holes we noticed getting the driver in and out of the bag was difficult because the roof had been repaired but it was now too far back to get clubs in and out of the bag properly. We made the turn at about 5:25pm stopped for a couple beers and some food
