Services
Our service approach seeks to help students and parents identify boarding schools, colleges and universities that "fit" - educationally, socially and emotionally. To help students make good matches, all consultations begin with a self-assessment. The process enables students to better define themselves and to determine what really matters to them.
Secondary school counselling professionals take the lead in critical areas of student development. Among their responsibilities are guiding students through the college and university search process, assisting students with class schedules, and providing support in times of crisis. To properly support students, the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) recommends a school-to-counselor ratio of 250 to 1.
Choosing schools can be exciting. It can also be time consuming and difficult. Our aim is to make the school selection and admission processes easier for you - and for your family - by providing a personalized range of choices and a method for reviewing your options. Providing unbiased expert advice to families and prospective students was a motivator for establishing our consultancy.
Teo Salgado is an independent educational consultant based in Toronto, Ontario. He is a highly regarded higher education professional with more than 25 years of experience in international student recruitment, admissions counselling and alumni relations at the University of Toronto and Western University.
Evandro Mesquita Rodrigues has more than 20 years of English as a Second Language teaching experience at the largest language teaching schools in Canada and Brazil, including Berlitz in Toronto. Currently Evandro teaches at the University of Toronto coordinating English translation as well as Portuguese-related courses.
