Husband and wife chiropractors Dr. Gil Desaulniers and Dr. Marie Perron founded Optimum Family Chiropractic in 2009. The message they sought to share with the community was to assist in reaching their optimal level of health. Our goal is to help you and your family achieve your full potential, in your health and your life.

Dr. Gil is a member of one of the world's largest chiropractic families. There are 44 chiropractors in his extended family, and he knew early on that he would join the second generation of them. Uncle Gil, Dr. Gil's namesake, was the first in the profession, graduating in 1976. Chiropractic care was a part of Dr. Gil's life when he was growing up and has never taken a medication or gone to the medical doctor.
As a young teen, Dr. Marie received chiropractic care for various issues such as headaches and jaw pain. She was highly intrigued by the fact that chiropractic provides healing through manual means. For her, this natural form of health care provided answers, unlike the traditional medical route.
Though Dr. Marie began chiropractic college in Quebec City, after two years she decided to transfer to Life University in Atlanta because she liked the approach there better.As a mom to three children - Samuel, Amaya and Ocane - Dr. Marie is particularly passionate about helping kids and families reach their peak potential.

Dr. GILL and Dr. MARIE are awesome! I started going to see them a couple of years ago hobbling about and walking with a cane sometimes! I am now able to work and do life balance with ease. ( no cane at all) Forever grateful and see them once a week still and always! These two special people are very much an extended part of my family as they never treat me just as a number or patient but truly care and take their time to know me as a person! Highly recommend to see them!

I have been coming here for around 2 months and given the severity of my spinal condition, it's a bit too soon to see any real positive improvement. But having said that, I enjoy the service here and the attention to detail and care given my Dr. Gil. He is able to manipulate my spine in a very pain-free manner. I don't get any sore spots or aches afterwards. I have noticed an improved range of motion to my neck. The clinic is well maintained and they have some good technology for monitoring spinal health. Dr. Gil and his wife are super friendly and positive. I enjoy coming here for adjustments

I've been a happy client for over 2 years. I get regular adjustments for myself and my 3 kids (age 9, 5 & newborn baby). Chiropractic adjustments apart of our preventative health care.
My kids have zero health issues. I personally find relief in getting adjustments to release stress and tension in my body from mom life, travel, computer work, bad posture from breastfeeding etc.
In the last days of pregnancy, I got adjusted and went into labor hours later. My early labor was long and my midwives were encouraging me to go to the hospital for an induction (after 24 hours). I refused and called Dr

My daughter has Autism, Low Muscle Tone and a Global Delay. She has also suffered from severe constipation her whole life... she is 9! All the Chiropractors here are amazing. My son and wife have been cared for here for the last year. We very quickly saw a huge positive change with my son. My wife is a different person - she has never felt better.

I'm 6 months pregnant and work on my feet all day. I was under regular chiropractic care prior to becoming pregnant and absolutely believe this helped me become pregnant easily. During pregnancy adjustments have helped alleviate migraines, insomnia and, most recently, brutal pelvic pain that was beginning to affect my mobility.
