Cedars Cottage Resort
Lake Eugenia is at the entrance to the Beaver Valley in southern Ontario's recreational heartland. The Beaver Valley is part of the Niagara Escarpment, is particularly picturesque and is designated by UNESCO as a World Biosphere. We have so much to offer! Swimming in the lake or our beautiful pool, or some time on the lake your choice of watercraft!

We have a playground for the kids, or just chill in front of the fire and watch our spectacular sunsets! Come and breathe our fresh air! Cedars Cottage Resort is located close to some of Ontario's very best year-round recreation. This is the place to get away from it all, unwind and enjoy. The scenery along the Niagara Escarpment and in the Beaver Valley is spectacular.
Services

Absolutely love this place! Despite the pandemic I felt safe and comfy. I can’t wait to come back when things are “normal” again. Thank you Sidney for your lovely welcome.

Love this place! spent two nights there Oct 29-31, 2021. Everything was perfect, clean, and beautiful setting. It was a cold and rainy weekend but the wood we ordered for the woodstove was there and the room quickly had a cozy feel to it. Just feet from the lake we enjoyed our morning coffee watching the swans swim around. An all around great place to spend a Fall weekend

Our 2nd time at this cottage resort. Great atmosphere, lots of privacy, we stayed in a Chalet this time. Super super clean inside and out. The grounds are very well maintained and the owners are friendly, easy going and there when you need something. We have decided to make this an annual event

What a wonderful experience! This was the first time going to a cottage as a family. We’ve already booked again for September and possibly for Christmas! Beautiful accommodations, gorgeous view and the hosts are very accommodating and kind. Only about half an hour away from Collingwood and the blue mountains. So if you’re in a pinch and need to get some thing it’s not far out. Also another little local Store which is also attached to an LCBO, not far up the road.

The guests were very responsive and helpful. The cottage was clean and had all that's necessary for a comfortable stay. The beach could use a couple trucks of fine sand as the one they have is very coarse, more like gravel. The pool is nice however they didn't turn on the heater until the last day of our stay. Overall the resort is well kept and provides for a calm and refreshing vacation in the middle of nature.

My husband and I stayed here in May 2021. Cedars Resort did not disappoint! The cabins and chalets have been refreshed, and furniture and decor have been updated. The new owners (as of June 2020) have taken great care to ensure that all cabins are well equipped with more than the basic necessities in the kitchen, bedrooms, and living space. Even the firewood is top notch - dry, and long burning. Our cabin was quaint and comfortable, with a great view of Lake Eugenia, a private deck, fire pit, bbq, dock, and access to the water. We made use of the pedal boats (canoes and pedal boats are included

Great place and is very cosy and clean. Amazing sunsets and fall colours. I was there with a group of women in October last year and returned this week with my husband. Both times in cabin 5 with 2 bedrooms and a wood burning fireplace. It is very quiet with no boats in this part of the lake. I recommend a stay in the waterfront cottages. Not high end but good value. New owners in July 2020. Loved the new paint colour and curtains which brightened up the cabin.

Our first time here, and totally enjoyed our family vacation, last summer, for a week. Our grandchildren joined us, the lake was nearby, the pool refreshing and always clean. The chalet we had worked well, with 3 bedrooms, deck and lots of outside area. We really enjoyed the kayaks and canoe to scoot around the shallow lake. Thanks again, back again this coming summer with our entire family.

Cute, clean cottage. Nicely decorated. Cabin 1 had lots of outdoor space so you don’t feel like you’re close to your neighbors. Beds are small so not really comfortable for a family of 4, but manageable for a short stay. The grounds overall are very clean and well maintained. Everything was very well organized. Having the heated pool is nice on colder days where time in the lake is not desired.

We recently held our family reunion at the Cedars. We rented all of their cottages and had a blast! It was nice to have the whole place to ourselves.. we definitely took over! We loved the fishing, canoeing, game room, pool and being in the middle of nowhere with no option but to RELAX! Gary and Pippa were wonderful hosts and were very helpful and patient with all our planning. They were also available to cater a BBQ on site for us.

Since they don't have a large meeting room/hall we rented a tent and ended up putting it to good use. Also, the part of the lake the Cedars is on is VERY
