Hawthorn Cottages & Camping Of Lake Eugenia

Our decision to stay at Hawthorn Cottages was strictly because it was dog-friendly, as well as perfectly located for our hiking vacation.
We stayed in Cottage 9 - and it had everything we needed for our home away from home. Brian was an amazing host and makes a point of making you feel welcome.

We booked the 3 bedroom cottage for the week, had a great relaxing time! Already booked for next year and hoping for New Years ! Cottage very clean and well appointed ! Brian and Jayne are great hosts ! The best time was when our 2 and 6 year old granddaughters came up for for 3 nights , going on a boat and fishing and catching fish and just having great outdoor time was the best ! Seeing how happy they were most of the time and what great memories we made !

Great spot! We will be back. It’s very clean, well maintained and everything you need is available onsite. (even in the small cabins) There’s lots of restaurants and things to do in flesherton and Markdale. Enjoyed our weekend very much!

My fiancé and I and another both rented one of their mini cottages each. We all knew with the first hour of being there that we would be making g this an annual trip… not only we’re the cottages clean, quaint and well equipped, they were located in beautiful property that was very nicely maintained and hand painted lawn/decor by the owners. The owners were 2 of the nicest people to deal with and took customer care to the next level. We enjoyed the canoeing and went to different fishing spots as directed by the owner. Situated on the shore of Lake Eugenia, this hidden gem is a family run establishment who makes you feel like long time friends from the moment you arrive.
We were impressed with the well manicured grounds and the view of Lake Eugenia was breath taking.
We stayed in cottage 3. The cottage was charming and rustic and well decorated. Pride of ownership was apparent from the tidy cupboards stocked with your household essentials to the fresh smelling linens on the bed in each room. The fridge and stove were immaculately clean.

Had an amazing time staying in Cabin #9 for a few nights. The cabin was so cozy and we had everything we needed. Brian was also very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to spend a little time away. We’ll definitely be returning!

Just got back from hawthorn cottages, had an amazing time during the week. The owner is really nice, great customer service. The lake is really nice and it's perfect for fishing. The cottage itself was really nice comfortable couches and beds. it has a nice kitchen, its very spacious. Overall I had an amazing time.
