When a request for quote comes in and it is something out side of the normal type of parts we do, the first thing I do is ask our platers 'how can we get this done'. The Team at Zuraw Technologies has been very successful in accommodating all types of customer requests. We have been able to salvage a variety of very large parts that have been miss-machined and would otherwise have been scrapped saving our customers tens of thousands of dollars.

In the plating business we often are required to plate parts manufactured from cast material. As most are aware there are some inherent difficulties with castings, and the irony is that these issues, which are the reasons casting should be plated, are all the issues that cause all the problems with trying to plate cast materials.
A true Co-Deposition, Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) particles are deposited in a matrix of Nickel plating. This imparts excellent lubricity onto the coated part. PTFE coated articles are used widely throughout industry. They are used to provide wear resistance in valves parts, corrosion resistance in threaded fasteners, and release in plastic molds.
Gold plating is a method of depositing a thin layer of 24kgold on the surface of any part. Our gold plating has a trace amount of Boron in the deposit to provide the plating with extra hardness and wear resistance. Gold plating is often used in electronics, to provide a corrosion-resistant electrically conductive layer on copper, typically in electrical connectors and printed circuit boards.
