ALTYP maintains certification with the Canadian Welding Bureau to CSA standard W47.1, "Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Steel" in Division 2. Altyp Welding is committed to producing the highest quality metal products with superior workmanship while providing exceptional customer service.
ISNetworld is an online contractor and supplier management platform of data-driven products and services that help manage risk and strengthen relationships. It helps reduce unnecessary duplication associated with traditional qualification processes. Altyp Welding & Fabricating has been a member contractor since 2018, we use ISNetworld to keep up to date on qualifications and processes for our clients.
Partnerships in Injury Reduction is a voluntary program in which employer and worker representatives work collaboratively with government to build effective health and safety management systems. By improving health and safety, the social and financial costs of workplace injury and illness are reduced.
The University Hospital Foundation is a charitable organization created in order to raise financial support for the University of Alberta Hospital. Altyp specifically donated to the Foundation in order to support the Guru Nanak Dev Healing Garden, located in the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and serves as a place of peace and rest in a building that people often enter only at the most stressful times in their lives.

Altyp did a great job! We had two metal window gates and two front door gates that needed mesh welded to the outside so that we could add a thumb lock mechanism that could be opened from the inside without a key. the mesh was so that no one could open the lock from the outside. they were less expensive then two other contractors. they coordinate with everything and works great with each other. They did exactly what they said they would do and were very precise and careful. I would recommend them for anyone who needs welding done.
