We contacted Tazscapes about a design and landscape build and received a prompt reply and a visit to our yard to discuss a rough design and budget. Taz was able to answer all of our questions and we moved ahead with him to a final design and itemized budget. We thought we were going to be in a position to move ahead with a landscape build but due to a couple of personal unforeseen circumstances we were unable to move ahead to the build stage. Our experience with Tazscapes was wonderful. We searched online for a landscape designer who matched our aesthetic and found that on Taz's website. After reaching out to him (which was always easy to do), we met for an initial meeting where we discussed ideas we had and he had a chance to see our backyard. This was his opportunity to understand our desires as clients, the space he had to work with, and a general idea of our budget. Following a terrible experience with a different landscaping company last summer, we were essentially forced to restart our backyard project. During this time, we contacted Taz, who promptly came out to assess our yard, provide suggestions, and follow up with a custom design that was both appealing and functional, and which accounted for the negative slope in our yard (we required a retaining wall). Hiring Tazscapes was one of the best decisions I ever made. Taz is highly creative, professional and honest! The design process was fun, and he was totally responsive to my needs and budget. The entire team was awesome! They were dedicated, hard working and highly professional! In fact, they even helped me with a drainage issue well before spring. Very professional landscaping from design to delivery. Taz did a great job with the design and was happy to make revisions to incorporate our feedback. We worked on the design phase over the winter months which gave us lots of time to think about it and make adjustments before work started.
Lewis and his crew from Cook Custom Landscapes were amazing. Professional, experienced and efficient landscapers that take pride in their work. Lots of positive comments from the neighbors about these fellows. One neighbor baked them cookies. As a customer the best thing you can do is stay out of the way and
