While it's wonderful to have a flexible body, what if you are a person who has so MUCH flexibility that it is a cause of pain, weakness, poor balance, clumsiness, ankle sprains and/ or slow to heal injuries. This type of body is one with Hypermobility Syndrome where the joints exceed the normal expected movement for that joint.

I had a session with Chang and will be going back in the new year. I felt such a safe space where I could explain my ailments and was listened to with care and understanding. Chang gently guided me to help me heal my back and shoulder pain that I’ve been experiencing for years. I’m excited to work with him further to work through some more long-term pain I’ve been experiencing!

Praise for Pre-habilitation
So you’ve got a diagnosis and, with a bit of luck, a date for your surgery. Allow me to share part of my full hip replacement journey so far and three trusty companions who have accompanied me via Trimetrics: pre-hab., belts and prunes.
Knowledge is one of the best tools to have in your well being backpack starting with small achievable goals. Let me drill down to the nitty gritty. Immediately post surgery, knowing which exercises to employ for the comfortable use of a bed pan, progressing to getting out of bed without human aid, e.g. a belt and how to correctly

JR immediately put me completely at ease with his kind and professional demeanour, and I was impressed with not his wealth of knowledge but his ability to explain things to me in a way I was able to easily understand. I’m confident I’m in really good hands with JR and am glad to have him on my team as I recover from my ACL tear.

Following up with a different physio today - after a bit of a delay to see Pippa, she was also amazing in looking for a cause to my issue. She is very much a scientist and was able to give a great overall view .... and a positive treatment.
Extremely efficient and punctual clinic. Carolyn was amazing - helpful, caring and informative. Looking forward to more treatments and getting rid of this pain in my back! Thank you Carolyn!

I mainly see Siobhan at Trimetrics,
and she is a miracle worker! Since I live across the bridge and it can be quite a drive for me to get to Trimetrics, I tried another well-known place in my neighborhood. They did a great job, but they really couldn't compare to what Siabhan does for me...
So I came crawling back and was welcomed with open arms! Not only is she extremely experienced and knowledgeable, but she always seems to be enthusiastic about holistic health. She has been more valuable than a physiotherapist, she can take a quick scan of my body and dive into her bag of tricks to accommodate

I was referred to Trimetrics (Suzanne Rodzoniak) by every single person in my family and extended family for the recovery of my fractured tibia. I saw Suzanne weekly at first, then bi-weekly and now I see her monthly, 8 months post injury. The care I got from Suzanne was amazing. Not only am I up and walking, I've started running. Not only did Suzanne heal my tibia, she helped me with a shoulder injury I obtained, and with two sessions of IMS, my pain is gone. I can't wait for my benefits to reset in January so I can resume seeing her on a more regular basis. She will be dealing

Trimetrics (and formerly Symetrics) has changed my life. Being hyper-mobile, having children seemed to have totally ruined my back. But Siobhan expertly assessed and diagnosed me and got me on a physio program that moved into pilates & strengthening. I have been going religiously for three years & the only time my back has given me trouble, is when I have taken extensive time off (i.e. over Summer). Trimeyrics has amazing post-natal & post surgical Physio & IMS that every mother should receive! Plus truly amazing Pilates instructors, Susie, Marlene, and Alison are invaluable in

I have now been going to Trimetrics (formerly Symetrics) for a couple of years now. Siobahn's team is amazing. I have been to many Physo/Rehabilitation facilities due to many injuries from my car accidents. This is the first facility that I have gone to that I have had results that I am excited about.
I primarily see Physiotherapist, Kirsten Stalberg and Clinical Pilates instructers Kiki Laxton & Suzie Higgins.
Kirsten's on-going care and great knowlege has really set my program in motion. She is a great Physio, who uses a variety of techniques (Acupuncture, IMS (intramuscular stimulation
