Bronte Movers will make your next local move quick and easy. We are in Oakville and have been moving households and businesses in Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Mississauga areas since 1975. Hourly rates vary by the season and the time of the month. Our hourly rate depends on the amount of crew required and includes a fully equipped truck.
Charges for your long distance move in Canada are based on the weight and volume of the items being moved, the distance they are moved, plus optional services such as moving a piano or hot tub. These charges will always be clearly outlined when you are reviewing your estimate with one of our moving specialists.
Bubble wrap - plastic packing material has hundreds of air cushions used to double-wrap small, delicate items already wrapped in tissue; larger fragile items such as lamps and pictures. Packing paper - wrap everyday items to prevent scratching; crunched up it can be used as cushioning. For fragile delicate figurines and china.
A full service move saves you time and gives you peace of mind as your professionally packed items will be covered under Bronte Movers insurance. Please note that items we do not pack cannot be covered by our insurance. Extremely disappointment with the lack of professionalism from this company and in particular your Estimator. First off, I'd connected with your company and over the phone I was quoted $220/hr. then on an email I was quoted $230/hr. - I suppose based on how someone initially reaches out (phone vs. email) you shell out different #s?
I scheduled an in-home estimate to be safe. The Estimator (Chris) calls an hour before our scheduled time which went to voicemail as I was on a work call during said work day

Tyler and Alex did a fantastic job with our local move recently. Showed up ahead of schedule and got to work. They were friendly and very efficient. We ended up with some additional crew to unpack so they were finished early which was appreciated. Putting our bed back together had some issues (but that's flat pack furniture for you!). Would absolutely use again!!

We moved recently after being in our home for 25 years. We hired Bronte Movers and it was the best decision we made. The company is so well run and organized. This was a very large move. 5 guys came and were the absolute move amazing people. They were fast but so very careful with our stuff. There were a few "odd" pieces that required special care and they knew just how to handle them. They were polite and somethin you don't see much of, they were happy doing the job, friendly and really got along. They were extremely detailed in every way. I will definitely have Bronte Movers move my furniture

We used Bronte for our move in July and we were extremely pleased with Bronte Movers and quite happy we went with this company. For our last move we went with one of the large, popular moving companies and that was a terrible experience of tardiness, slow moving workers, unfriendly workers, and given the time it took, the extra cost that came with 'overtime.' Bronte Movers were the exact opposite. It was a 4-man crew and they were fast. These guys were strong and moved quickly and barely took a break ( I actually don't know how they did that) in the scorching heat of late July. They also moved

I would highly recommend Bronte Movers to anyone moving into their new space! From the first day I contacted them for a quote until the last box was in my new place, everyone was very professional, thorough and polite with their explanations and services. They checked in a few days before the move, called when they were on their way and promptly returned all my calls.
