Anchorage House & Cottages

We recently stayed at the Anchorage Inn and Cottages for a family wedding. Our party rented the entire place, which was a perfect setting for everyone to gather and enjoy each other's company to prolong the weekend. This was our third date due to COVID and Kate could not have been more understanding and accommodating with the delays and rebooking. The house is perfect for larger groups, the setting is beautiful and the hosts are wonderful people. We would recommend staying here to everyone. They responded to every request and exceeded expectations. It was a wonderful experience to stay there.

We had our wedding at the Anchorage House in October. It was the perfect venue for our big day. Our Anchorage House hosts went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend a huge success. They accommodated every request and made all of our guests feel comfortable and welcomed. The big house and cabins were able to accommodate all our overnight guests. The hot tub and sauna were a big hit. Highly recommended. We will be returning again soon. Thank you so much

Never have I encountered such a HEARTLESS company. Due to covid we had to push my sisters wedding back since most of us (her family) live in a different country and couldn’t get through without complications or fear of getting sick. TO CANCEL A FAMILY GET TOGETHER BEFORE A DAUGHTERS WEDDING FOR A SAILING WEEKEND IN THE FLIPPING MARITIMES?!?!?! Disgraceful. Unprofessional. Just because of “community push back” weak excuse for an even more pathetic and weak group of people. Not to mention we only found out, after weeks of trying to get to get ahold of them through email, by calling ourselves

We had the privilege to stay at the Aspotogan cottage, a most lovely, clean, comfortably quaint little cabin. Kate is so wonderful and helped us have a most enjoyable stay in Hubbards. It had everything we needed and we highly recommend to any couple getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Me and my friends stay every year. It's become tradition. We have a blast. The staff is amazing and will keep coming back every year.

I give the Anchorage House and Cottages 10 stars!!. I've stayed in the the cottages a few times and the house for the past few years.
The setting is within walking distance to restaurants and the famous Shore Club. The rooms are clean and bright. The grounds are well kept and user friendly. The clean pool with lounge chairs is available for all guests. The house has a beautiful hot tub that we've enjoyed every evening. The new sauna is big and works wonders.

We have rented out the big house several years for family reunions. It is a great spot for a large group. Beach, restaurants, water sports all in walking distance. Kate, the owner, is so focused on your experience and making sure you have a great time. They never disappoint.

Our favourite place to stay in Nova Scotia! Clean, cozy cottages that are pet friendly. Beautiful surroundings with heated pool. The owners are caring, friendly and accommodating. You won't be disappointed!

Location and atmosphere ! Everything was thought of, remarkably clean, family and pet friendly. Enjoyed a kayak trip around the bay at dusk, kids loved the fenced in ground pool. My daughter said it was her favorite place we have visited! We will be back!!

Anchorage Cottages were so clean. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. Covered deck was also a bonus since it was March when we visited. We had the 2 bed 2 bath cottages and it was cosy and plenty of room. Highly recommend. Even nicer in the warm weather with pool, etc
