Rosewood On The Cove

Beautiful cottages, however, I booked a cottage for me and my husband to be for our wedding night, and days leading up to as well about a year in advance. There were at least 3 other cottages booked by guests from my wedding. Due to the strict Atlantic Bubble Covid restrictions in Nova Scotia (we live in BC), we were forced to postpone our wedding. Very disappointing that myself nor my guests were unable to money back. They were not cheap, and we have 6 months notice. Very disheartening.

We stayed here for a nearby wedding and found the cabin perfectly suited our needs. Comfortable, enough places for everyone to sleep, and easy to get to.

Beautiful place. Very clean, friendly atmosphere. Cottages are very well finished. Had a wonderful time. The only downside was we didn’t stay longer.

Spent an absolutely lovely week at Rosewood on the Cove. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The location is picture perfect: a view (& access) of the water, a pool, green space to play lawn games, as well as restaurants within a short walk, and several beaches nearby. Would love to come back next summer!!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Rosewood Cottages. We were in Jasmine, and the view from the front porch was mesmerizing. The cottage is beautifully appointed and there are so many amenities in the immediate vicinity to take advantage of. As Halifax residents, we appreciated the short distance from home to experience such tranquility. Will be booking again for sure.

We stayed in the Honeysuckle cottage which is renovated with two bedrooms and a pullout couch. The cottage had a full renovated kitchen, comfortable beds and stunning view. The pool was great to keep the kids busy during the day, with the Shore Club and Tuna Blue a very close walk for meals out. If you need to do laundry, they have a coin operated machine near the pool (two $1 coins and two 0.25 cent coins are needed for each the washer and dryer). We had a very comfortable and lovely stay. We hope to come back soon!

Had an awesome weekend at Rosewood Cottages! We had our 35 year nursing reunion there and it couldn’t have been a more perfect location! We rented 7 cottages and each one had its own personality! Everyone raved about their cottage being the best!! We’re already talking about going back for our next reunion!! Cathy thank you for always responding to my questions/emails so quickly! Highly recommend Rosewood Cottages!!

What an amazing week we had at Rosewood on the Cove!! Hyacinth Cottage exceeded our expectations! It was clean, comfortable and gave us lots of space to rest and relax. We loved how close everything was to the cottage - Hubbard's Beach a 10 minute walk, Hubbard's Cove Rentals for kayaking a 5 minute drive and lots of shops and restaurants just minutes away! A perfect location for a family vacation!

We just enjoyed the most wonderful week in Honeysuckle cottage at Rosewood on the Cove. From booking to leaving the whole experience was wonderful. Cathy was very helpful with booking and communication and… everything looked just like the pictures when we arrived. The cottage was spotless and we loved having the water steps from our door. The heated pool was perfect for kids. Hubbard’s was the ideal location for day trips to see the sights in Nova Scotia. I would highly recommend this beautiful spot to anyone looking for a east coast holiday

Vacationed here with family. We stayed in Lilac and Hyacinth.
Rosewood cottage is the perfect getaway for a family. The cottages are very comfortable, clean and well cared for. We grilled out on the patio - the kitchen has everything you need. The view is very nice. Cathy was very responsive and helpful; I appreciate that she arranged a pack and play for my baby. I am so pleased with our trip here, much better than a stuffy hotel!! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations.

There are no surprises; with an Airbnb I have to think twice about what my client will get. With Rosewood I know my clients will be well looked after. There is also the plus that Hubbards is under half an hour to Halifax and Chester.

The cottage was clean, comfortable, well supplied and nicely decorated. The location is beautiful. We especially enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and watching the sunset down by the dock. It's close to many lovely beaches and only 45 min. from Halifax, Lunenberg & Peggy's Cove.

The cottage we rented was a surprise - we had expected a nice place based on the pictures but it was even better than we expected. The contact person was helpful and accommodating. The cottage itself was clean, very well equipped and newer. The grounds were beautiful and had many extras such as a swimming pool, laundry facilities, restuarants very close and a beyond beautiful dock to sit and have your glass of wine or cup of tea. The location was amazing with a lobster supper, a beach and lovely views all within easy walking distance. The location is also a short drive to Mahone Bay, Chester, Halifax

Just recently stayed here. It was wonderful. The accommodations were warm and inviting. The service impeccable . The grounds and pool area impeccable. The scenery amazing and the people well they were very warm and inviting ! I would really give it a 10 out of 5! Well done. Can't wait to visit again . Thank you😊👍

Beautiful spot. Just a roll down the hill from the Lobster Supper and Dance Hall @ the Shore Club and only a short stent to the gorgeous beach! The cottage we rented was stunning and the owners were quite accommodating. I highly recommend staying here!

My family and I have stayed many times at Rosewood on the Cove and I can say I have loved our time here. Phylis is amazing and her customer service is second to none. She knows how to make her guests feel super special. It's in a perfect location with great amenities. Can't wait to get back - highly recommended for anyone wanting a fabulous Nova Scotia experience!!

The setting is so tranquil and beautiful. The service surperb and accommodations first class! One of the most beautiful places to stay on the south shore of Nova Scotia. Look forward to coming back again and again! Absolutely love our stay at Rosewood! Five star!!!

Rosewood is a little piece of paradise nestled in Hubbards Cove, Nova Scotia. Close to the city of Halifax it's a central hub on the South Shore to take you on day trips to further down the shore, the Annapolis Valley or up towards the Eastern Shore.

I did not just like it... I loved it! The charm and hospitality were superb. I am looking forward to another visit.
