Dr. Ekta Cheba is a compassionate and comprehensive dentist. She is detail oriented and strives to provide the highest level of care for her patients. She was raised in Calgary and spent most of her life in Alberta. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of British Columbia.
General dentistry refers to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of a varied range of conditions, diseases and disorders that may affect your teeth, gums and jawbone. It involves digital X-rays, regular check-ups, cleaning and polishing of your teeth on a daily basis. The pictures of your teeth are placed on a screen to let you and your family members know about the kind of treatments that you will require.
Just like routine oil changes keep your car's engine in great working order, regular dental care is essential to maintain a healthy smile. Prevention is always better than restoration when it comes to your teeth. At Blackfalds Dental Centre, we recommend two cleanings each year, too. We'll remove any plaque or tartar that may have accumulated, despite your careful brushing and flossing, then send you on your way with a healthy, polished smile.
If you need emergency dental care in Blackfalds, we are available to help during our clinic hours. Dental emergencies are not limited to the list above. When in doubt, keep in mind that bleeding, severe pain, swelling and lost teeth are all indicative of a dental emergency. We have an emergency dental care policy to ensure that patients receive immediate treatment during our regular clinic hours.
Roughly 9 out of 10 adults will need at least one tooth filling during their lives. Even if you brush and floss daily, you may experience decay and a cavity may form. We welcome you to visit or call to discuss your symptoms to assess the next steps to take care of your dental health. Cavities can be taken care of quickly and easily and immediate care will prevent the spread of decay.

Seriously can’t say enough good things about Dr Cheba and team at Blackfalds Dental...most thorough exam I’ve ever had and explained everything completely and being the first time I’ve really ever had work done they were amazing at telling me what they were doing as they worked and checking to make sure I was doing okay. Made my experience less scary and kept my anxiety at a minimum. Loved that the did preventative work instead of just waiting till it eventually became an issue. Highly recommend!!

All the staff I encountered were super friendly, comforting and welcoming. The dentists seemed highly skilled & knowledgeable and I felt confident putting my trust in them. I appreciated the time the dentists took explaining things to me & they made me feel like they genuinely cared about me & my health. Everyone at Blackfalds dental gets 5 star from me. Such amazing staff! They have been looking after me and my family for years. Dr. Mast deserves and extra star. Such a craftsman at what he does. I've spent time with him over the last few months doing some restorative/cosmetic work, and I have to say...I am more than happy I went to him. He is truly a fantastic human being! Thanks again Sir!

Many years ago I was in need of a dentist and that is when I met Dr Mast. I so appreciated his gentle calm demeanour and expertise. Losing track of him over the years, I visited a couple of other dental… services until this year I was once again in serious need of expert dental services. Feeling sad that I couldn't find him I scheduled in with another service who quoted me over 10K worth of work needed. It felt wrong and I just stepped back, not following up. Then a friend told me her dentist was Dr Mast in Blackfalds and I immediately booked an appointment, so happy to see him again. I

I unfortunately have had to be in that dentist chair a few too many times the past 6 months. I must say I have never had better customer service. Not only were they extremely knowledgeable and professional but they also made an effort in getting to know me. For example, the manager overheard I started a new job Friday and my order came in early on Thursday, so she squeezed me in so that I wouldn't have to worry about trying to book a late appointment next week. Blackfalds is a small town and I love the atmosphere at this office!
