Physiotherapy is a first contact, autonomous, client-focused health profession dedicated to prevention and managing pain, physical impairments, disabilities and limits to participation. Treatment in neurological physiotherapy is based upon exercises to restore motor function by attempting to overcome motor deficits and improve motor patterns.
Therapeutic Mobility is proud to be a part of this thriving city and gives back when it can. Thunder Hoops is a basketball camp for children of all ages, striving to hone their skills while staying fit. You will always find a Barrie Food Bank container in our lobby as we encourage our staff and customers alike to contribute a food donation to this very worthy cause when possible.
At Therapeutic Mobility, our experienced team of registered physiotherapists will provide you with a comprehensive assessment which will include details of your health history, evaluation of pain and movement patterns, strength, joint range of motion, and your neurological and activity status.
Taking your goals and needs into consideration they will then design a specific program geared to getting you back to pain-free and full function as quickly as possible. At all times we will promote independence by educating our clients in the best ways possible to alleviate their pain and disability while they are in treatment and once they are discharged from care.

Therapeutic Mobility is always filled with laughter and warm greetings by all the staff. They are always one step ahead and you can be sure your therapy is always top notch and exactly what is needed. Without my therapy from Heather, I would not be able to do the things I do today. It's been a long recovery and I sure know that without Heather's… knowledge, amazing therapies and continues encouragement, I would not be as well as I have become. Thanks to all of you for being the amazing people you are! All I can say, if you are looking to NOT feel better and recover, then this is not a place

The staff at Therapeutic Mobility are fantastic. Stephanie was knowledgeable and very nice to deal with in setting up an assessment for my mom in the hospital. Kathy came to RVH and did an excellent assessment and exercises with her. My 90 year old mom had a stroke and the hospital told me she didn't qualify for rehab so they left her giving her no physio. With Kathy's assistance my mom has been able to walk with a walker. I have used them in the past with my dad as well. I would highly recommend their services.
