Shas Pharmacy has been part of the Walkley road area of Ottawa since Naresh Sha first opened the doors more than forty years ago. He operated the store until 2018 when the current owner David Bodunde purchased the pharmacy. Naresh Shah still works part time in the store to continue his dream of providing quality pharmacy services, products and information to help people lead healthier lives.

Ever since I found this pharmacy, I never leave them.
One day I went to the doctor and had no money to pay for my medication. I went into the pharmacy and asked if I could get five days supply of my medication until the end of the month, then I will come for everything.
This old looking man said , ok , make sure you come back. He gave me my medication on good faith.
Aunty Bonny , said to me, I know where you live, no you cannot fool me. I smiled, because I know that day was the first day my eyes ever bless hers.
I returned and pay my medication at the end of the month. That’s some seven

I visited this pharmacy on Saturday (May 1st) to receive my Covid vaccine. In terms of operating safely in a Covid environment, this was one of the best run pharmacies I've visited.... great layout and logistics with professional (and friendly) service. The vaccination was very organized and there was no unnecessary waiting around. The pharmacist had great technique... never felt the needle and no soreness after! Great job, all!

The customer care (the lady) who is working on cashier today is careless.
I was about to by something but she was to rude even if when I asked with a kind voice. She doesn’t really to be on casher, what she is doing is to push back customers and give a bad reputation to the business owner. Tell her that she doesn’t have yo bring his anger to the work, her personal problems doesn’t have to be customers problem. I could not buy anything due to her behavior, she is racist. Instead, I decided to go back and buy from other sellers. I will recommend to discipline her.
It’s just a shame.

This is the best pharmacy in the entire area. Everyone is super friendly, treats you like family, helps out the community in any way they can. They are a fabulous group of people. I was going to Rexall and went into this pharmacy once to check it out and haven't stepped foot in Rexall since. Going to miss this pharmacy when we leave the community. Nice to have a sense of community in there, not many places have that anymore.
