Over the last twenty years Murray Peacock had been IICRC certified in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, water damage, odour control, carpet dyeing and redyeing, fire restoration, rug cleaning, as well as being a certified senior carpet inspector and holding the designation of Master Carpet Cleaner for many years.
He is still actively involved in each of these fields save for inspections. He also teaches and consults to a number of cleaning firms in Ottawa and area. Starting this business in 1987, Murray is still fascinated with the Art and Science of rug restoration. A lot of what I do can't be learned in a two or three day course, or even in a few years.

There are a variety of methods and equipment used to clean carpets. To narrow it down, we refer to either dry cleaning (low moisture cleaning) or steam cleaning (hot water extraction). We had a stubborn coffee stain on our cream coloured family room carpet. I tried several times to remove it myself, using homemade cleaning solutions I found online. Nothing seemed to work. Someone recommended Peacock Rug Care. They were able to fit me into their schedule and removed the stain, no problem! The technician did a super job and we’re very happy with the results!

Peacock Rug Care does a fabulous job of making carpets look like new and they provide an upholstery protection service too.
We recently bought new furniture and were not impressed with the reviews of the product the furniture store was offering as a protection service. We reached out to Peacock Rug Care to see if they offered a similar service and they do. Curtis came to treat our new couch and love seat in August. Last week we had a spill of black tea on the love seat. With the protection product applied by Peacock Rug Care, we were able to easily remove the stain.

I made an appointment with Peacock Rug Care, it had been around ten years since we had any carpet cleaning. Our light beige carpets looked grey: after the rug cleaning looked fresh, clean and soft. Wow what a result! On time, professional service all within an hour. Not to mention a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Peacock Rug Care.

I have been using the services of Peacock Rug Care for over 25 years. I can't believe it has been this long, but they never fail to impress me. When my children were growing up, I had Murray Peacock (and later Curtis) come in to do my carpet and upholstery cleaning every 1-2 years and was always impressed with the service and outcome. Murray's wife Carole was the in office coordinator and we almost became friends l used them so regularly lol . She was always organized and helpful and so understanding about emergencies. They have hired great new staff including their children who are carrying on

I have used Peacock Rug Care in the past and they are simply the best rug/upholstery cleaners. They clean out the toughest stains and refresh our furniture. Their staff are professional, attentive and take good care to protect our home while working here. The cleaning agent they use is odourless and safe for us and our pets.
