Very disappointed.
We visited the restaurant for a birthday celebration. We had reservations for 8pm for a table of two. When we arrived we were told our table wasn't ready and were seated at the bar. We enjoyed a drink while we waited and not too long after we were seated at our table. Once seated by the hostess, we waited at our table until 9pm waiting for someone to come and introduce themselves and take a drink or food order. We tried to make it obvious that we needed service by placing our empty glasses at the edge of the table.. but we couldn't even catch the attention of anyone because

Wonderful pre-Christmas treat from our children. First visit to Baci, a real delight. Pleasant ambience, attentive staff and a delicious meal. Had a small salad with something I've not seen before - teardrop shaped tomatoes. Followed up with a tasty and tender osso buco. Finally, shared some excellent cheesecake and tiramisu. Great night!

We went for dinner Saturday night. We have been there several times over the last couple of years but this is the first time since Covid. The service and food was really good - We had Luanne, who we have had before. A little slow getting drinks initially but it was busy and she was apologetic so definitely understanding. We ordered a couple of apps - antipasto platter and calamari - really good - then ordered 6 dinners (4 pasta's and 2 pizza's). The one pasta had a hair in it and they replaced it quickly and felt bad (they did take it off the bill) The male server brought us all

Looking for a out of the way modern Italian restaurant that prides itself on quality and service? Baci Ristorante, located within the Quality inn hotel in off Stone Church in Hamilton is your next destination!! Made online reservations and was checked in quickly and brought to our socially distanced table. Our server came to our table quickly and we warmly greeted. We looked over our disposable paper menus forgoing the online version. Ordering the Arancini balls and Cesar's salad as an appetizer and the home made gnocchi for our entrees. The appetizers came quickly and both of them were excellent

The pizza was exceptional, the quality of the cheese was superb and the taste quite complex and subtle. The spaghetti and meatball is good, but let down somewhat by the dominant sour taste of the sauce. The intense flavour of the tiramisu is something out of this world, but also very polarizing as far as opinion goes. Worth a try though!
The dress code is also on the formal side for anyone looking to visit.

Missing from the reviews that I read was that the restaurant is inside a hotel. That isn't a negative, but the signage could be better to help you to find it.
Food was very strong. I had the Carbonara and my son had the Alfredo. Both sauces were very light, compared to some places where they can be very thick, almost chalky.
Service was also very good, although the place was empty on a Holiday weekend Saturday at lunchtime. So, not much to go on there.
I would definitely go back.

The only reason I give this a four out of five is that parking can be a challenge when an event at Carmen`s is on. I was told that there was addition parking at another lot but the signage for that was not to be found by me. So we parked on the street. No big deal.
Once you are in the restaurant the service is friendly and courteous. Nice decor. The wood oven gives a warming atmosphere to the modern decor.
The food was very tasty. I do not usually eat pizza so I was pleasantly surprised by the hot sausage and rapini pizza drizzled mildly with honey. The hot and sweet combination was delicious

Back Ristorante was fantastic. Everything was fresh and very tasty. First time there so we sampled 3 items. The Gnocchi was out of this world, freshly made and the sauce was incredible. On top of fabulous food the service was outstanding! This will be my go to restaurant for Italian food. Thanks again for a fantastic meal. See you soon.

We took my Dad to Baci for his 73rd Birthday! My parents had been there before but it was my wife and I first time. I had mussels in red sauce and a delicious brick oven pizza. Our server Samantha was kind, curious and even brought my Dad cheese cake to help celebrate his Birthday. I would definitely recommend Baci to a friend and I will be going back! Cheers!

My husband got the pasta al frono it wasn't that great my husband told me mines is better when I cook it.. and I had the margherita pizza not for nothing I'm from NYC we do have the best pizza there but.. the pizza here was OK... The tables are too close to each other..

This was a disappointing meal. The mini ciabatta buns they bring where stale. The carpaccio consisted of two strips of meat and a lot of arugula. I felt like I paid $15 for an arugula salad and the meat didn't seem like filet mignon as advertised. The arancini was good. My girlfriends special, pasta al fornio was also good and she enjoyed that. I ordered vitello which was supposed to be stuffed and then finished in the wood fired stove. They cut out a cavity in the veal chop and put in boxed stuffing. The pesto gnocchi which it came with where over cooked and very starchy. I didn

Authentic Italian cuisine with an upscale setting. Baci is the single best pasta restaurant in the city of Hamilton, and my absolute favourite anywhere.
The fettuccini Alfredo is cooked in a house sauce, that is a perfect combination of creaminess and strength. The portion size is huge; a large bowl is for the famished.
One of the biggest things that always draws me to Baci is the service. Every time I've been, service is ALWAYS top notch. The wait staff are friendly, attentive and courteous. In the hospitality industry, service is huge

I stayed one more night in the hotel and had to try again because the food is great, and it seems unfair to the chefs that are working so hard in the heat of the kitchen.
I decided that going in and ordering would be the easiest, so I stopped in and a great 6' 3' waiter helped me quickly and suggested the seafood pasta....can't recall the name...but certainly more "Italian" than that.......lol. "No problem sir, we will have it ready for pick up for you in 10 min." - and they were super busy again.
15 min. later I stopped down and it was ready and up I went
