Kingston Mills Veterinary Hospital
Dr. Mark started his career in a mixed animal practice in Kingston with a focus on small animal medicine and surgery. An associate position at a small animal practice followed, also spending time at the Toronto Emergency Clinic and doing large animal locum work.

An associate position at an equine referral hospital in British Columbia took Mark to the west coast where he remained for 6 years before moving back to Ontario with his family and opening Rutherford Equine Services in 1999.He has always kept an interest in small animal medicine and surgery and when the opportunity to purchase Kingston Mills Veterinary Hospital in 2018 he knew it was the perfect fit.
Services
Medicine refers to the examination, diagnoses and treatment of a disease or illness through non-surgical means. Veterinary medicine is rather unique compared to other medical professions since veterinarians are extensively trained to deal with illnesses that affect all of the tissues and organs in your pet's body.
Here at Kingston Mills Veterinary Hospital, we always welcome new clients and patients to our full service veterinary practice in Glenburnie. We know you will be very happy with our services. Our veterinarians and staff are devoted to staying on top of the latest diagnostics, treatments, and wellness programs to maintain your pet's optimal health.
As a new client of our Kingston Mills Veterinary Hospital in Glenburnie, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.
If you have any questions pertaining to these alternative therapies, please give the clinic a call and we will be happy to answer them for you. Dr. Morag McMurray also sees horses in her equine mobile practice, Limestone District Equine Services. The equine practice is limited to animal chiropractic, acupuncture and herbs.
As alternative therapies have become more popular with pet owners, we have added these modalities to the services we offer. Alternative therapies, which are also referred to as "integrative" or "complementary" therapies, include acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy, laser therapy, magnetic therapy, and massage therapy.
