Jolly Giant Childcare

At Jolly Giant Childcare we employ Early Childhood Educators who are required to have a current first aid ticket, a criminal record check, a physician's declaration of suitability, and two letters of recommendation. In addition, all caregivers must have an educational background related to child development.

We have served over 1500 families since 1999 and parents love to choose Jolly Giant Childcare because we deliver superior childcare experiences for children and their families. Our facilities, equipment and supplies are continuously updated to ensure that we are providing a safe, fun and age-appropriate environment.

All of our programs at Jolly Giant Childcare are built around a loving, caring, and secure environment where the children's basic needs (shelter, food, water, safety, comfort, love, etc.) are always met. As well as having their needs met, the children participate in our educational programs that are designed with age appropriate activities and experiences to maximize learning and growth, while establishing independence and self-esteem.

At our Vancouver Island Childcare Centres, our purpose is to enhance each child's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development. We believe that all children have the right to quality daycare and we value and respect children of all races, religions, cultures, and abilities.

The Affordable Child Care Benefit Program is run by the Provincial Government and it is designed to assist families with daycare costs. The program does not pay the entire childcare fee; instead it pays a portion of the fee and the families are expected to pay the balance.
