Care At Home Pharmacy was established to provide clients and their families a much needed service to ensure proper usage of medications. It is often very difficult and overwhelming for clients and their families to effectively manage multiple medications. This can lead to improper use of medications, which can result in extra doctor visits, emergency room visits and hospital stays.
Ray Hogue was the co-owner of Leila Pharmacy in Winnipeg and pioneered the concept of the "visiting pharmacist", beginning in 2000. He was hailed by "The Pharmacy Post" in 2006 as an innovator and health care coordinators deemed the home visit system to be a godsend. After selling the successul pharmacy in 2009, he has pursued other business opportunities.
Care at Home Pharmacy provides free deliveries of your medications to your home. Regular at home consultations will be provided by one of our visiting pharmacists at no additional charge. The frequency of the pharmacist's visits will be as often as needed and will be decided collaboratively with the client and their families.
Care At Home Pharmacy is the epitome of what is needed today to help seniors remain in the comfort of their home and have quality care come to them. My parents have greatly benefited from "visiting pharmacist" Yolanda Yeung's involvement. She initially developed a medical profile for each of them and made recommendations to their doctor regarding medication changes.

It’s an amazing service but I may be a little biased since I work there. But it is a truly unique pharmacy offering prepackaged medication plans and in home visits from our wonderful pharmacist. Plus we deliver medications right to you, working closely with caregivers and other health professionals.
