Poor customer service, i didnt see anyone before i was confronted as if was a shop lifter,couldn't even answer questions about the manfrotto tripods,no worries i ordered on Amazon. Thank you and sorry i had to say, I was uncomfortable through the whole confrontation. Sorry guys. I won't be coming back.

Had the best experience here today. I had a camera body gifted to me without any lenses and as a beginner, I was completely overwhelmed by the different options available. The gentleman at the counter spent a great deal of time with me going through options and making sure I got the right one without any pressure. I will 100% come back for all subsequent purchases.

This is the worst place in Calgary to spend your hard earned money on camera gear !
The customer service is so horrible (true fact, Walmart employees provide far superior customer service). I would strongly recommend staying away from this place at all cost and purchase your next Camera from other reputable stores like The Camera Store, Vistek or even London Drugs where staff are well informed, and will assist you in making the right purchase decision in a pleasant and respectful way.

My father had a bad experience with the purchase . So he bought a Sony Alfa7 camera and accessories from market mall location and also he bought a Canon eos70D and flash and other stuff including the 24240 Sony Lens from this location . he never used the Sony lens for a while cause he assumed it was a brand new but then he figured there was a scratch on top of the lens like it was a used one or from show case perhaps , but unfortunately he never came back to store because of language barrier and also knowing the return policy is only 15 days so as a regular customer he is still very upset because

The customer service here is horrible. I hate going to this camera shop because of the bad customer service, but the location is convenient as I live 3 minutes away. As a journalist, I often call around multiple calgary shops in search of the gadgets that I need, and unfortunately, Saneal Cameras is one of the last places I go to - for I dread having to deal with the gentleman who works up front.

The manager (Jack) and the owner were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I came back today to price matched my earlier purchased and they gave to me the discounts without any hustles. Very professional, honest and straight forward guys.. I would be buying all my next gears from Saneal from now onwards..

I had been searching for a good quality bridge camera for a few months. I read a thousand reviews and was therefore getting further from a decision (funny how that works, says the reviewer).
They were aces with a lens repair many years ago so I called Saneal to see if there were some options in store. William took time on the phone to find out exactly what I was looking for, what my price range was, and named a few for me to read up on that were readily available. I was feeling hopeful right off the bat.
In the store, William and his colleague Jack demonstrated their top picks and were knowledgeable

Terrible service and completely overpriced! During a visit to inquire about a product the person behind the counter could barely be bothered to answer my basic questions about the product. Upon further inquiry he completely turned away from me without an answer at which point i left. Later that day I found the identical product at 1/2 the price at a local competitor.

We went in to buy a lens and the guy who helped us showed us all the options and recommend the item with the best value for our need. We've dealt with Saneal Cameras for years and they know their stuff. I've never felt that they were trying to "up sale" us - just the opposite. They want us happy so we return.

Seems like they've got a fair amount of camera gear and from consumer to pro, they probably have what you need.
But I don't know guys... so does The Camera Store and given the drastic customer service levels I was given today at each store, I couldn't give you a reason to come to Saneal instead.
They don't do returns, like at all. Even when you need a battery charger for that evening and might have one at home but can't risk being wrong. It would be fantastic to buy one so that when I get home I can discover that:
A) I already have a charger and bring the one I just

Bought an expensive camera here and when I got it home I realized there were mechanical problems with it. Took it back the next day and they said they would have to send it to Nikon for warranty repair and could not exchange it . So after paying $1200 they said I had to wait a month before getting my camera. Also called my credit card company to cancel transaction. If you have a problem with your purchase,WATCH OUT !!!
