I order 2 Nutella Donuts and I got 2 Nutella croissant. I repeated myself three times and when she went to retrieve the donuts I told the cashier what the order was.

I know this was done on purpose as they were the last two Nutella donuts. I was not asked if I wanted an alternative they made that determination for me.

When you are buying for people and you order something specific. it is in stock s In am ordering, you expected to receive what you order.

Whatever Angelo makes is great. What the issue is his staff! They’re rude lazy and they can’t do math. My order was 14.13. I took out 20.00 and 15 cents. She wouldn’t take the coins because she already entered 20.00 😳 ok so let’s do some basic math? 20-14 is 6. 15-13 is 2. Oh the change would be 6.02. 🤦‍♀️. It’s not rocket science. Poor Angelo.

A pal took us to this restaurant, recommending their coffee which is OK, on the generous side. Their cakes are generally over sweetened, except for the cheesecake which is up to usual standard. However, the service is bad, expect slow service and no smile or thenk-you, and the place is not neat or very clean, tables are not wiped after last customers. They must have hired some lazy staff, because they even put an "out of order" sign on their washroom to avoid having to clean. A pal went in and everything working in the toilet though the staff told him no flushing water to prevent

Extremely poor handling of cake reservations + customer service. I called in the day before to ask about whether I could have a medium cheesecake ready with "Happy Birthday" written on it for the afternoon on the next day. Keep in mind that these are one of the cakes they regularly make, so there should be many of them available.

The morning of picking up the cake, I called to confirm the time that the cake would be ready at, and they said it would be ready at 2 pm. When I got to the bakery at 2:30 pm, the employees there seemed to be scrambling and unable to find my cake. They left

Ordered 2 cakes from them this past week. 1st one was a canolli cake. They forgot the canolli, forgot the sign and forgot the flavour. It was a wet, sloppy, tilted mess. 2nd cake was a strawberry sfoglia. When ordering we were asked if we wanted it covered in strawberries or mixed fruits. We opted for.strawberry as that is what I wanted for my birthday. it was ok, with juat a couple strawberries on top. The flavour was just ok. Next time I'll save the money and disappointment and order from Longos.

This bakery is quite popular, especially on weekends. Their pastries aren't available until 8:30 am, so it's best not to come earlier.

I tried their empanadas ($3.89) for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. They must have just come out of the oven because they were piping hot. The crust was flaky, and the filling had ground beef, eggs, onions, and olives. I personally found they were on the salty side though.

Service is okay; it would be nice to see improvements. If you purchase six items or more, the tax is waived. Parking can be tight; however, street parking is available

My mother ordered cupcakes for a special event. When she picked them up and brought them home she then opened the box and noticed that it looked as if they were iced in a different colour first and then the… icing was scraped off and the colour we asked for was placed on top of it. It was supposed to be vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with pink icing. For some reason all of the vanilla cupcakes had pink/green icing under the pink icing and the chocolate cupcakes had blue icing under the pink icing. It certainly looked as if they ran out of cupcakes and decided to scrape off the icing and

This bakery offers the best Napoleon during my cravings over the years (I can't believe I didn't write a review about them earlier)! I also grab a few of their jumbo meat empanadas whenever I swing by, they are under $4 apiece and very hearty!

I was on the hunt for the best local tiramisu cake and I think I may have found it at Francesca. After 2 hours of tedious investigation, I decided on ordering one of their small Tiramisu cakes ($18) for a birthday dinner after reading all of its impressive reviews and it certainly did not disappoint. The small size is a perfect serving for 4-6 people. We absolutely loved the cream filling - it was packed with a decadent coffee flavour and super creamy. The sponge layer was also rich in flavour and not dry at all. The only part we didn't really enjoy was the outer portion - consisting of the

A few weeks ago, I ordered a sponge cake with the fresh cream and strawberries filling for a friend's birthday. I, along with everyone who had it, were amazed at how great it tasted. The price was extremely reasonable too - serving size for 8 people only came out to be around $21.

Recently, I returned and tried their ricotta cannolis which were $2.50 per large. They tasted great too.

This will be a definite go-to place to get cakes and desserts!

I have been on a hunt for the best croissants - almond, custard anything that's flaky, buttery and fresh without being overly sweet. From Amadeus, Rahier, Gouter, Bomou, Andolini's. I was open to trying anything from French to Italian. I accidentally discovered this Scarborough gem through Ubereats. I ordered the custard croissants for the office. I wasn't expecting much and to my surprise everyone loved it. Its the perfect flakiness and sweetness, and thats when I decided to visit the place the next day. This time I ordered the almond, chocolate and custard. I think I have reached

Busy place with long lineup. They sell delicate Italian pastries, cakes, deli sandwiches, cooked food, gelato and even toiletries! Food items get sold out early, so it is better to call and preorder or go early. I have tried their deep fried rice ball with meat filling that is the size of a palm. I have tried nothing like it. Light crunchy crust. Flavorful meat filling or you can choose cheese filling. You can also add pasta sauce to it. $3.50 for a good portion. Must pre-order or you have to wait in line for it.

Since I began working in Scarborough in early 2000, I love dropping into this Italian bakery for a delicious veal sandwich!

It seems the parking lot is busy all the time and sometimes drivers like me are competing with workers and their service vehicles for the limited parking.

If you successfully find parking, it's worth the adventure and you'll be rewarded with tasty food including desserts/treats and European drinks.

Don't pass up trying the Cannoli too!

Service is excellent.

I haven't sat in the dining area because I'm always on the run. Gotta go...

This is my go-to place when I crave a large donut for 99 cents! I'm not a fan of sugar-coated donuts, so I just shake the excess sugar off. You can't go wrong for the price! The custard Krapfens - Austrian filled donuts ($2.40 each)) were okay, but I was quite disappointed with the Nutella, it was hollow and perhaps on a diet! What happened to the filling? The almond croissant ($3.99) was flaky on the outside but a bit gummy inside. The cherry danish ($3.75) was unfortunately a miss. It was soggy on the bottom, perhaps from the cream cheese filling. I would definitely stick with the

Finally got a chance to visit this bakery after passing by it every since forever!

Came here on a weekend afternoon, they still had plenty of desserts available. However, their bread options were almost all sold out already - business is booming here! They have a hot table here, but when I came all they had was various arancinis (maybe the pastas are only available on weekdays?).

Ordered their:
- Cannoli - really tasty! One of the better cannolis that I've had so far! Ricotta filling and the shell are both very fresh.
- Zeppole w/ ricotta filling - the filling is basically the same as
