The passing of my father was as for most, traumatic. Soon after passing away, hours later I spoke with a soft spoken individual know as Matthew at Chapel Ridge. He listened and helped me to arrange pick up of my father and on the next day we met and discussed the plan. It all felt natural and I was not stressed. I found him to be reassuring. The viewing , the Funeral at my church with the priest I requested and the entombment all went better than I imagined with a drive by my parents home on way for entombment , with a drop off of extra flowers to the home. Excellent staff and premises, well organized and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, in particular the Pastor, who oversaw the funeral. We have one complaint however, we booked a Tamil Hindu funeral, which was no problem for them to arrange, but they outsource the Iyer (Kurukkal) and therefore they do not have much control over him. Unfortunately there was a previous funeral before ours and he dashed from the other funeral to ours, not bothering to change his stained veshti and seemed to be in a hurry and we felt this was extremely disrespectful to our family. We have just returned from the funeral service for my father at Chapel Ridge. Top notch service, top notch atmosphere. From the first meeting - when we prearranged the funeral - to the meeting just before the funeral to the actual events, all staff were super-professional, attentive, accommodating and friendly.
The room was pleasant and tasteful and clean. The washrooms super-clean. The whole ambience very appropriate.
Matthew exceeded our expectations with excellent ideas and initiatives such as a sand-box with candles (as customary in our religion), offering both English and Romanian language

Katrina Simpson was fantastic to deal with through a difficult time. She was attentive and very responsive in communication details. COVID 19 made us postpone the funeral for several months and she was constantly checking in and giving updates. Beautiful facility, well organized and friendly staff helping throughout the service. I needed immediate assistance regarding a funeral and cremation. Chapel Ridge deserves every star on this review because they were able to help me out with all the documentation needed to start the process. In addition, I want to especially thank Sienna and Matthew who are both funeral directors at Chapel Ridge, they were critical to my being able to manage all the logistics of making all the arrangements that needed to be made.

I found Chapel Ridge Funeral Home to be very professional and caring. We used their services for both of my parents and I was very pleased with their organization. They helped us through many of the details and not once did I feel like we were being pressured. Their fees were very reasonable and I give them 5 stars because of our overall experience.

My family would like to thank Sagen Pearse and his team at Chapel Ridge for the wonderful service provided, for the funeral of my mother. Chapel Ridge is family owned and operated. Their caring, compassion and attention to detail shine through everything they do. Neal and David listened to our family's needs and desires and worked to fill them exactly. The "one stop approach" for ordering flowers and a luncheon worked great for us, but people can make whatever arrangements they like, even catering their own food. Highly recommended if you need the services of a funeral home.
