Heritage Funeral Centre has been in operation since 1997. Our newly renovated facility is the largest single level funeral home in central Toronto, and boasts spacious visitation rooms and coffee lounges, as well as parking for over 200 cars. We are privately owned and operated by Mr. Glen Day and his family, carrying on his family's legacy of excellence in funeral services for the fourth generation.
Although a death in the family is one of the most difficult times one will ever have to face, we are confident our staff will offer you professional guidance, and support with all the necessary decisions and arrangements. We take great pride in the many tributes we receive from families, earning us their trust and making our firm the funeral home of choice for our community, whenever the need arises.

Services
Heritage Funeral Centre has been serving the Toronto area community for many years. We're thankful to be an important part of this community and will continue our longstanding legacy of helping families honor their loved ones.
As a family owned firm, we are proud of our history in funeral services; After having served in World War I, my grandfather, Ralph C. Day, opened the Ralph Day Funeral Home at 172 Danforth Avenue in 1922, with the mission of offering the community a good service at a fair price.

I had previously reviewed this place well. After months of disorganization and neglect with our account, I have decided to give my true rating of 0 stars. We signed for the long form death certificate originally June 14th. Since then, we have had to come in, signed things they have forgotten, they have been disorganized and completely neglected and forgot about us. My mother and grandmother had to go in person for them to even remember about our account. Truly the neglect is one of a lawsuit. It is Aug 12th now, and we still do not have the death certificate which we need for deeds. In fact, they

We had my brother's funeral here on 7/3/20. Due to COVID-19, there was very limited seating so we needed to heavily rely on video streaming. Heritage Funeral Centre completely botched the live stream and the video recording. Only about 1/2 the audio made it to either video. We are left with no video of the event to share with hundreds of people that were either trying to view the video live or trying to view the recorded video afterwards. This monumental event for my family was handled by a group of amateurs. I do not recommend this business for such an important event.

Today was the funeral of my cousin who passed from cancer. Due to covid-19 restrictions only a limited number of people were able to attend the funeral in person. They did have a live stream link which serves no purpose at all because they were having “technical difficulties”. My family we’re not able to attend or see my cousin even virtually. Poor customer service. Don’t promise things to people you can’t deliver. I highly recommend not using them for your funeral needs.

I am very disappointed with the lack of service/compassion I received from Heritage Funeral Home. My son and only child died of suicide and as his caregiver (he lived with me) I contacted Heritage in order to obtain his death certificate so I could begin to fulfill the requests he made in the note he left (he did not have a legal will.) I was stunned at the roadblocks that Heritage Funeral Home put up – denying me a copy of the death certificate at the request of my ex husband, and sending me on a runaround to Service Ontario in order to obtain one – all at the time when I am experiencing the
