Anna joins our team with a wide-range of event coordinator and service experience, having assisted in organizing TED talks, as well as working with The Social Concierge, the group behind massive Vancouver events like the Deighton Cup, Diner en Blanc and Harvest Haus. Most recently, Anna worked with the Glowbal Group at their steakhouse concept, Black + Blue.
As a teenager, Drew began his apprenticeship under Paris-trained chef Brian Roodenrys, quickly developing a passion for the freshest local ingredients, beautiful presentations, and above all, great tasting food. Drew received early recognition competing in local cooking competitions and was awarded the Provincial scholarship for culinary arts upon graduation to further his studies.
Jason Pleym and his wife Margot founded Two Rivers Specialty Meats in 2007 to offer their clients meat that is raised with quality over quantity in mind. Both the quality of life for the animal, as well as quality of the product are considered before Two Rivers begins to work with a producer. The result has been a growing line of meats that are primarily locally produced, hormone and antibiotic free, and ethically and sustainably raised.
A focus on sustainability throughout our organization has always been a cornerstone at Drew's Catering & Events. For our drop-off catering services, the plates, cutlery, napkins, bowls, cups, stir-sticks -all of it- that we provide to our clients are always 100% biodegradable and compostable. It's not the cheapest way to do it, but it's important to us, and we think it's important to our clients, too.

We worked with Drew's Catering for our company barbecue. They were so easy to deal with and thought of everything in advance. They were really helpful and offered advice from the start on what would work best for us. On the day, the set up and service was fantastic. The food was really tasty and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again in the future.

We really enjoyed working with the team at Drew’s for the catering and rentals for our wedding. Leading up to the event, they were so professional, easy to work with and on top of things, it really put my mind at ease. They were transparent about costs and it was very good value. The event service team was was really excellent, friendly and professional on the day of as well. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was - many people came up and told us how much they enjoyed it. We will certainly recommend Drew’s to anyone looking for catering services in the future.

Drew's Catering did a fantastic job catering our event. They are very helpful in tailoring to your needs and provide very clear and well layout proposals. The staff that arrived at our venue were well prepared, super friendly, and very easy to work with. Above all, the guests loved the food and the presentation. We will be using Drew's again!

Wedding catering in this town is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive and over the top with extra fluff frills, rentals and add-on's that we certainly didn't need. We wanted simple, elegant food service with delicious,… locally sourced food at a decent price. Drew’s Catering was IT! Special Events coordinator Anna Romanova worked with us to choose the right menu and catering style ( buffet) for our venue and was helpful when we need to make a few changes after our delicious tasting. The food was exceptional. They also do creative Vegan and Vegetarian dishes expertly and our vegan/veg guests loved

We could not have been more pleased with Drew’s catering who catered our wedding. They were easy to deal with, welcomed any changes we needed to make and provided lots of help!
The food was delicious and they allowed for modifications including vegetarian and vegan items. Our guests had only positive feedback and said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding and also that the beef was mouth watering good.

We used Drew's Catering for our company party and the food was amazing. The delivery and set up of the food was top notch. We got great feedback from the employees and owners. The staff was professional in helping me put together the menu and was great with communication after we decided to change venues at the last minute. I have used other caterers in the past but Drew's Catering has been the best experience I've had. Thanks!

We needed a caterer for a celebration of life in a few days time, and Drew's Catering came to the rescue! As an experienced event planner, I've dealt with many catering companies, but I was completely blown away by Drew's. Not only were Anna and her team extremely easy to work with, but they were super accommodating to our needs, budget, and dietary restrictions. From the unique food presentation to the incredible platter selection, the team truly made the celebration of my Grandfather one to remember. Annoyed. We were going to book these guys for our wedding but they were a hair above our budget. But on the quote they gave us there was a line item that said discount 0% so I figured there might be some wiggle room. When I asked for a small discount instead of reducing the price, they swapped out the salmon for some other fish. Not really what… I had in mind, but okay. When you are spending over 5 grand on food and see a line item that clearly says discount, one might think hey, I can save a couple bucks. Don't be fooled and don't waste your time. When I first started approaching caterers for my wedding, it was a bit overwhelming, but I knew instantly I wanted to work with Drew Cooks! after speaking with Gordon (the previous Director of Catering Operations, who has since moved on).
