Braving numerous setbacks and misfortunes, Odysseus' reward was the achievement of a goal to return to his family. Similarly, life is an Odyssey, a journey fraught with happiness and sorrow.

Dr. Naheed Jawed is a Registered Clinical psychologist providing assessment and treatment services to children and adults in Airdrie and Calgary. Her specializations are in Clinical and Forensic psychology and she has over 19 years of experience providing psychological services. Dr. Jawed completed her graduate studies from universities in Florida and Arizona and has worked both in the United States and Canada.

One of the first things that struck me about Dr Naheed was that when I called her for an assessment of my daughter's learning disability, she was very helpful. When I told her we did not have insurance coverage,she gave me options for places i could contact for subsidized assessments. In the end we had our daughter assessed with Dr Jawed because of the time she spent with me explaining the process and giving me options even though we were not at all sure we would use her services. We were really happy with the time, care and attention she paid to our daughter and for the assessment we received

I wanted to share my experience with Dr Naheed for anyone looking for a psychologist. I had to transfer doctors as I live far away. And it saddened me to transfer. Because Naheed is so extremely caring with her patients. And she genuinely wants to help. She is understanding, and enlightening! Gives you that “aha” moment when it comes to rationalizing your behaviour. In general very accommodating. And would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Dr. Naheed.
