While group therapy typically focuses on interpersonal dynamics, our psycho-educational programs make use of workbooks and on-line resources to build skills and coping solutions. Chronic pain is invisible, except for the scars it can leave on the lives of those it affects over time. Our approach to psychotherapy and coaching involves many of the same tools; but an important difference lies in your objectives.

Services
There are times in life when we need help to move ahead -- or to understand and overcome life changes and barriers separating us from our goals. I can help. Our work will help you tap your own resources -- as an individual, couple, or family -- generating solutions and re-directing energies based on those unique strengths.
Chronic pain is invisible, except for the scars it can leave on the lives of those it affects over time. The emotional and social aspects of chronic pain complicate recovery and add layers of symptoms on the underlying physical pain. These complications are best dealt with by a mental health professional -- preferably one experienced in treating chronic pain.
While group therapy typically focuses on interpersonal dynamics, our psycho-educational programs make use of workbooks and on-line resources to build skills and coping solutions. Pre- and post-program assessments help you chart progress and define next steps. Group discussion provides opportunity for skills practice and strategizing.
Our approach to psychotherapy and coaching involves many of the same tools; but an important difference lies in your objectives. Most clients seek therapy when they sense something is wrong. Coaching clients are more likely looking for an ongoing partnership to stop, start or strengthen behaviours that enhance performance and lead to more fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives.
Fees for individual, couple and family therapy in our Calgary office are $200 per 60-minute hour. There is no added fee for additional persons participating in the sessions. Pre-paid packages of 5 sessions are available at $180 per hour. While payment is expected at the time of the session (VISA and MASTERCARD accepted), most extended health care plans provide coverage for registered psychologists.
