I grew up in this great city and attended the University of Toronto where I completed dental school, earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994. After working as a general dentist for two years, I furthered my education at the University of Manitoba where I obtained my Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in 1999.

My daughter got her palate expander last December followed by her braces and now elastics and her teeth are beautiful now...she still has another 8 months, I'm totally confident that her mouth will be perfect by then. Staff are amazing there and Dr Emily is friendly and knowledgeable....I've had 2 children have their braces from her. I would highly recommend her practice...half of East York goes there so you know they are good at what they do.

These reviews have to be fake. I had my braces done by her and I regret it. The dr missed crucial steps such as elastics and proper retainers, she actually gave me a broken retainer and didn’t want to send it back to get it fixed. She is in it for the money she could care less about your teeth. Needless to say I had to go thru the process again with an actual orthodontist that couldn’t believe her work. Avoid going here, her actual patients honest reviews are not here.

This office is amazing, and took such good care of me!
I've suffered from jaw /discomfort pain due to poorly finished fillings (from years of previous dental work), and I was looking for any relief! I looked to orthodontics as I felt I had completely exhausted my time with basic dentistry.
I was met with an extremely thorough exam and collection of information by their treatment coordinator Carolyn. She was so pleasant, and took her time with me making me feel comfortable and listened to.

Honestly, Orthodontics on Danforth is just amazing, once you walk in, you get greeted in a polite and respectful way. The staff, I think it could just be the best staff in the world, they always make me smile :). Even though elastics and braces can be annoying and everything but I always look forward to my next Orthodontics on Danforth. Love the staff, Love everything about you guys, thx for always making me feel like i'm in safe hands. :)
