My mom has always used Dawson Road Medical. Once I had to take over managing her prescriptions I learned just how truly caring and friendly the pharmacist and staff all are. One evening our doctors appointment went very late. The pharmacist came looking for us to make sure we had her prescriptions before he closed for the night. It was because of reasons like this as to why I switched from Shoppers, where I was just another customer. And their main driver, (for us) Jenn is great. She was great in helping deliver the masks and caps that I made and donated to everyone at the Dawson Road Medical Centre

Though friendly-they are not opened on the weekend and they don't even have an answering machine. So the phone rings incessantly with no helpful message telling you they are not opened. I wasn't near a computer to check hours so just kept calling. What kind of pharmacy isn't opened Saturday and can't invest in a basic answering machine? Terrible customer service. You also can't see your medical pill record online as you can with most pharmacies

I like the fact that my doctor can "fax" in the prescription while I am there. What really would make my day is that I can call in my prescriptions like Walmart has. I know all I need to give now is the Rx number and the meds will be ready for pick up the same day. I also like the fact that they offer me get free out of jail so I don't have to pay the ridiculous price of 4 bucks for > 15 minute parking.

Terrible experience filling my prescription there! They didn't have the medication in stock, so they ordered it. Once it came in they automatically sent it out by delivery without notice. The driver kept coming by my house without warning when I was not home. I went back to pick-up the prescription from the pharmacy but now they were out of stock again. Then, it was the same situation with the delivery. They would show up without letting me know the medication is in or the driver was their way. I am rarely home so I would miss it and have to go back into the store to find out that they are out
