Psychologists are professionally trained individuals to help assess, treat and provide therapeutic services to individuals with mental health and/or addiction concerns.
A psychologist has anywhere between 6-10 years of university training, practicum experience, supervised practice, and registration under a licensing body that requires psychologists to pass a license exam and approved by a board of other psychologists at the College of Alberta Psychologists.Psychologists will help to assess your presenting concerns, and/or provide appropriate diagnoses where applicable.
