I graduated from the University of Oslo, Norway, as a Clinical Psychologist in 1995. Over the past 22 years, I have had many wonderful experiences with my clinical work. I have extensive experience from clinical work with patients, teaching, writing and public presentations. My clinical work is based on a holistic and strength based perspective, with a wonderful blend of techniques and theories that custom build each patients treatment.

In 2011 Statistics Canada found that 6 million Canadians were suffering from an addiction. You are not alone. These addictions can feel uncontrollable. They may interfere with work, familial, financial, and other commitments. These costly behaviors can damage your health and can affect the relationships in your life.
Asperger syndrome used to have it's own classification, but recently it has be taken under the umbrella of "autism spectrum disorders". Today someone who would have previously been classified as having Asperger syndrome would be considered to be on the "high-functioning" end of the autism spectrum.

I was very impressed by how they helped my son deal with his grief over his friend's death.

Same story as many others. I wish I had read the reviews first. Booked an appointment and was called the day of to be informed that person was not available so the appointment was changed to a later time with the owner. The appointment started 10 mins late and she was so condescending that I had to walk out. $205 was charged for this appointment.
Definitely would not return or recommend.

Naznin is very carrying, understanding person. The staff at the clinic are very accommodating. I would recommend this place specially that they see paediatric patients- which is hard to find !!.

I called sunrise not knowing what I was looking for. All I knew was I needed to talk to someone who wasn’t a family member or friend. I actually felt so enlightened after calling to book my appointment.
I had only expected to go in for one session to get feedback but Naznin had me open up so much that I spent most of my session just talking and letting it all out.
I knew I wanted to come back and by my second appointment only, I was getting constructive feedback on how to deal with my situation - in and out of my relationship.
I really recommend sunrise because I don’t think I’d be where

My daughter booked an appointment with a staff member after careful research. After paying for the appointment we found out they changed it to another psychologist who my daughter had no interest in seeing. I am now 2 weeks into trying to get my money back. She now wants to charge me a fee for paying for with my visa in the first place. Very very unprofessional and very unsatisfied.

I’ve been a client of Sunrise for 4 years. Naznin, Rupinder, and their associates have been kind, accommodating, and understanding. Most importantly, they are as dedicated to my health and personal development as I am. I highly recommend Sunrise.

Poor service with ineffective strategies. Was also given miss information about scheduling and felt forced to book. I felt like the bigger agenda for the provider was to get $$$ in the door and helping with the issues we went there for were secondary. NOT RECCOMMENDED !

I had an appointment booked at Sunrise Psychology (Windermere location) with a counsellor I specifically chose off their website. Today I get a phone call saying that it is that particular counsellors last day and they are switching me to a new counsellor. I think anyone with training should understand how this might effect someone with anxiety... The phone call I got was a day before my appointment. Now I have to find someone new.

I wanted to find support but was worried about visiting a psychologist. It was really easy to book an appointment. I got in within a week! Even though I work days I was able to come in thanks to their evening availability. It's a very cozy and warm clinic. The only downside is that I had to pay $2 for parking when I came in for an afternoon appointment. Sherwood Park should not have pay parking.
