A hardwood flooring installation is something that needs much thought and planning before the process starts. We start project with checking the levels of the moisture present in the house subflooring and the hardwood flooring, and humidity level in the rooms. These checks are particularly important to ensure that the level of humidity and moisture content is right to avoid buckling or cracking of hardwood floors in the future.
We are one of not many companies in North America have a custom made specialty hardwood flooring like Versailles squares or custom pattern flooring. We own an 8yr old house with wooden floors throughout the main floor. Last year I started use a steam mop purchased at Wal-Mart that was supposedly safe for all floor types. Well, it wasn't. After months of use, the mop wore off the sheen on our floors and all was ruined.
I had several quotes from different suppliers in Oakville and Burlington to refinish the floors. I decided to use California Floor because of the owners, Andrew and his wife. Andrew did an amazing job refinishing the floors and wow, they look incredible. He and his partner are highly skilled.

I recently had California Hardwood Flooring sand down and stain my hardwood floors which were installed by the builder. I was unhappy with the colour (red) as it felt outdated, and wanted to change to a more neutral dark brown. California Flooring custom-made a colour for me, and came in to my place while I was away on vacation to perform the work. When I returned, the floors were sanded and stained and look perfect. I was initially afraid that the sanded floors would look strange, since the tongue and groove would be gone, but now that its complete, I realized that it looks much more professional
