Unlike wood, which can dent, laminate flooring is almost impervious to dents and scratches. Laminate flooring has what's called in the industry a "wear layer" that protects the photographic layer underneath. Some manufacturers give very generous 25+ year warranties on this wear layer. The glued-down hardwood floors in our condo had to be replaced because a leak upstairs caused water damage. Metrotown Floors were referred to us by the restoration contractor. The job didn't go perfectly - these things seldom do, but Metrotown Floors did an A+ job starting from first contact right through to final resolution of minor deficiencies. The Sales staff were very helpful in explaining the process and helping us to find the hardwood that would give us the look and feel we wanted. We didn't try to match the old hardwood - we went for a new look, and they helped us find something that was

Metrotown Floors replaced my flooring as subcontractors in a restoration job in my condo after water damage. My experience with the restoration company was not great, but everyone from Metrotown Floors was really top notch. The work done was excellent. But even more importantly (to me), they were excellent at communicating my options, working with me to make choices within budget, and they respected my home while they were in it. I have nothing but good things to say about them, and Saul in particular. I definitely plan on using them for some remodeling when my budget allows.

We met Saul for the first time on Saturday, his day off and the experience was very good. He answered all our questions with absolutely no pressure and gave us a lot of suggestions. At that point we knew we were in good hands. The installation process was quick and John the installer was very professional.

I am extremely happy with the Metrotown Floors+Interiors, right from the consultation process through to the install and follow-up conversations. Saul, our Metrotown flooring consultant, was punctual, courteous and polite when he arrived to measure my home, and gave a realistic estimate as to when we would have samples ready for us to choose from. He also indicated which samples were local and which were sourced from overseas, allowing us to make a positive impact on the environment.
