Clubhouse and event spaces are impressive and immaculately maintained. Have yet to visit the spa, but hear nothing but good things.

Simply disappointing. We attended your feasible of lights last night for my wife’s birthday with our daughters and their husbands and I was taken back with the quality of your market, one food truck and a light path that wasn’t safe to walk because of water and mud. Charging $120.00 for the six of us was outrages. We have always been a fan of the resort and feel you really need to reconsider the value of this activity and experience

Enjoyed a 3 night stay including meals with my ten year old for the price of 2. The staff did their absolute best to make sure our stay was perfect despite covid rules. The pool area including hot tub and sauna was open for an hour of private time each day (less than 5 guests at once). We enjoyed bringing our own games and feeling decadent playing on the grounds and thru the many passageways. The games room is a bit tired (needs new dart game, pool cues and rake, and shuffleboard sand) but the ping pong and soccer game was great! Lots of fun to be had at playground and lighthouse in walking distance

My daughter held her wedding here and the sequence of the events I witnessed on the wedding night left me shocked and absolutely embarrassed to my core. David who introduced himself as the venue owner was incredibly rude and abrupt in the way he dealt with us. They were unorganized, food was tasteless, service was awful, feedback was not welcomed at all and every time I asked if I could speak with David he was not available or simply had no interest to hear what we asked. I don’t wish what I saw happened to my daughter on her wedding night to any other bride. So please be mindful. It might be

A beautiful Place at one time I'm sure. I was only here for a wedding in the Grand Hall but had a good look around. Word of the wise it's labyrinth to get around inside. However, it's stunning. There are many areas that need repair, but for a facility it's age it truly is magnificent to take in. Hopefully some repair to wooden structure particularly will be repaired or refinished in the near future to earn a 5 star rating.

We recently had a wedding there and it was fantastic!!! The atmosphere was amazing and the property is gorgeous. It’s a bit dated but you can see the new management and ownership are working hard to update things. My wife and I both loved it just the way it is and found it had a real Dirty Dancing ‘Kellerman’s’ feel. The staff were top notch. I have never experienced customer service like that in my life. -found dirty underwear in my room. Someone came to grab it which is nice. But the area where it was found was not cleaned.
-found someone old used candles in the fireplace.
-room generally was very dirty and aged. I didn’t want to touch anything. The sheets had blood stains on them and hairs.
-The food was good. Nothing special or high end. Best example I have of this is you get canned fruit instead of fresh fruit with your breakfast.
-the spa service I booked was 45 minutes shorter than we had booked for. They said they had a “glitch” in the system even though I

I can't say enough good things about the Briars. We got married there in October 2nd, and the entire staff was incredible!!! First, they went above and beyond to ensure that our "COVID" wedding was just as… special while still adhering to all regulations and ensuring all our guests were safe. Second, the staff was incredible!!! Our bar tender knew his stuff and was so fun; all the wait staff was kind and helpful. I can't say enough about them. Third, the food was out of this world!! Every one of our guests talked about this being the best meal they have had!!! My hat goes off to the chef

The supposedly new director of food and beverage seems to be doing an absolute fabulous job in making sure clients will not want to come back there ever again. Fantastic addition to any business.
I would strongly recommend for any couple who are thinking of using this resort for their wedding to think twice and stay of it as much as possible particularly if you want to have a peaceful and a beautiful night. Most of the staffs are nice and friendly but sadly those in charge are completely opposite. Once you have paid them the money, they can do just about anything even stopping your function half

Stayed here for 2 nights this week for the first time. We did the waterfront getaway with the sea doo which unfortunately we did not get to enjoy fully as the weather did not cooperate but they said we could… return next year and get the full experience. What a charming place! So much to see and do! The food was amazing and the dining staff friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the kayaks and the boat “tour” and the walking tour with the general manager who is so knowledgeable. Unfortunately because of COVID the games rooms were closed and the inside pool renovations were not complete
