Thresholds, sometimes referred to as sills or transition strips are valuable accessories that can be used when installing a Dreamscreen Retractable Screen Door. For most installations the standard threshold is used. There are three types of Dreamscreens thresholds. Standard thresholds, Flat thresholds, and Drop Mount or Step thresholds.

In the middle of May I placed an order with DreamScreens in Oakville. We were told we needed to make a $50 deposit and that installation would be July 15. I agreed and paid via Interac e-transfer and noted the date.
Two days prior to the installation date I called to confirm and at that point was told yes, the person confirmed a 9 a.m. start, but she said poor weather might be a factor.

I contracted with Dreamscreens to have some custom screens built for my deck project. They were manufactured precisely and the installation was straight forward which I chose to do myself. I'm very happy with the results, they work perfectly and make the space so much more enjoyable. As a company they were responsive and easy to deal with. Of all the design features that comprise our backyard oasis, the enclosure created by Dreamscreens has by far been the most impressive. During the day we are able to keep the bees out and have some ultra violet shading, and in the evening we enjoy a mosquito free environment. I have had my motorized screens for 10+ years with zero maintenance. If you are building a backyard oasis I highly recommend creating a screened room so you may enjoy it all day long.

Very happy with the 2 Dreamscreens that we recently had installed. They look great and they function very well - high quality product. Great product, very professional and friendly installation service - would very highly recommend these screens! We bought them ourselves on a recommendation from another family member who has had them for about 10 years and has only good things to say...

I kind of hate my dreamscreens...we installed two sets over a year ago and while they are adequate at acting as screen doors to let the breeze in, they are an inferior product in every other way. The effort required to open the screens, the fact that they have to be so gently and gingerly held as they retract into place when opening to avoid a loud and violent impact against the frame, and the fact that the handles keep sliding down no matter how many times I tighten the cheap plastic screws make me regret choosing this product over other options on the market.
