If the Provincial Government specifically bans short-term cottage rentals preventing you from traveling to your cottage rental location, you will be refunded in full. The travel ban must include the start date of your rental period for you to be eligible for a refund. Deposits will be refunded in full if notification of cancellation is received 90 days prior to check-in date.

The beach at the property is unsafe. You have to step over large stone blocks to get to it. The blocks are not anchored and are extremely sharp. One rolled onto the back of my husband’s foot resulting in severe injury to his Achilles’ tendon. He required emergency surgery and will require a year to recover. The owners have been unresponsive to our request to address the problem. In fact, they have not given us the courtesy of a response to our communications. It makes you wonder what else on the property is dangerous and poorly maintained…
